Isaiah 18

NEW JERUSALEM	SAGRADA BIBLIA
1 Disaster! Land of the whirring locust beyond the rivers of Cush,	1 Oh! terra em que ressoa o ruído de asas, além dos rios da Etiópia,
2 who send ambassadors by sea, in little reed-boats across the waters! Go, swift messengers to a nationtal and bronzed, to a people feared far and near, a mighty and masterful nation whose country is criss-crossedwith rivers.	2 tu enviaste mensageiros por mar, em barcos de papiro, sobre a face das águas. Ide, mensageiros velozes, a um povo de alta estatura e de pele luzente, a uma nação temida ao longe, a uma nação poderosa e dominadora, cuja terra é cortada pelos rios.
3 Al you who inhabit the world, you who people the earth, when the signal is hoisted on the mountains,you wil see, when the ram's-horn is sounded, you wil hear.	3 Vós, que habitais o mundo e povoais a terra, quando o estandarte se erguer nas alturas, olhai. E quando soar a trombeta, ouvi!
4 For this is what Yahweh has told me, 'I shall sit here quietly looking down, like the burning heat in thedaytime, like a dewy mist in the heat of harvest.'	4 Pois eis o que o Senhor me disse: Eu olho com serenidade do lugar onde me encontro, como o calor suave de um dia luminoso, como a nuvem que dá o orvalho durante o calor da messe.
5 For, before the harvest, once the flowering is over and blossom turns into ripening grape, the brancheswil be cut off with pruning knives, and the shoots taken off, cut away.	5 Porque antes da vindima, quando tiver passado a floração, e a flor se tornar um cacho amadurecente, os sarmentos serão cortados com a foice, e as cepas serão aparadas e arrancadas,
6 Al has been abandoned to the mountain birds of prey and the wild animals: the birds of prey wilsummer on them, and al the wild animals winter on them.	6 e serão todos abandonados aos abutres dos montes, aos animais selvagens da planície; os abutres viverão deles no estio e os animais selvagens da planície os comerão no inverno.
7 Then, an offering will be brought to Yahweh Sabaoth on behalf of a people tal and bronzed, on behalfof a people feared far and near, on behalf of a mighty and masterful nation whose country is criss-crossed withrivers: to the place where the name of Yahweh Sabaoth resides, Mount Zion.	7 Naquele tempo serão levadas oferendas ao Senhor dos exércitos da parte do povo de alta estatura e pele luzente, do povo temido ao longe, da nação poderosa e dominadora, cuja terra é cortada pelos rios; serão levadas ao lugar onde reside o nome do Senhor dos exércitos, sobre o monte Sião.
