Isaiah 18

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 Disaster! Land of the whirring locust beyond the rivers of Cush,	1 ¡Ah, país del zumbido de alas, más allá de los ríos de Cus,
2 who send ambassadors by sea, in little reed-boats across the waters! Go, swift messengers to a nationtal and bronzed, to a people feared far and near, a mighty and masterful nation whose country is criss-crossedwith rivers.	2 que envías emisarios por mar, en canoas de junco, sobre las aguas! Vayas, mensajeros veloces, a una nación esbelta, de tez bronceada, a un pueblo temible de cerca y de lejos, a una nación vigorosa y dominadora, cuyo país está surcado de ríos.
3 Al you who inhabit the world, you who people the earth, when the signal is hoisted on the mountains,you wil see, when the ram's-horn is sounded, you wil hear.	3 ¡Habitantes del mundo entero, y ustedes, los que pueblan la tierra: cuando se alce el estandarte, observen, cuando suene la trompeta, escuchen!
4 For this is what Yahweh has told me, 'I shall sit here quietly looking down, like the burning heat in thedaytime, like a dewy mist in the heat of harvest.'	4 Porque así me ha hablado el Señor. Yo observaré impasible en mi puesto, como el calor ardiente y deslumbrante, como nube de rocío en el calor de la cosecha.
5 For, before the harvest, once the flowering is over and blossom turns into ripening grape, the brancheswil be cut off with pruning knives, and the shoots taken off, cut away.	5 Porque antes de la cosecha, acabada la floración, cuando la flor se convierte en un racimo que madura, se cortan los pámpanos con la podadora, se arrancan y se quitan los sarmientos.
6 Al has been abandoned to the mountain birds of prey and the wild animals: the birds of prey wilsummer on them, and al the wild animals winter on them.	6 Todos ellos serán abandonados a las aves de rapiña en las montañas y a las fieras de la tierra: las aves de rapiña pasarán allí el verano y todas las fieras de la tierra, el invierno.
7 Then, an offering will be brought to Yahweh Sabaoth on behalf of a people tal and bronzed, on behalfof a people feared far and near, on behalf of a mighty and masterful nation whose country is criss-crossed withrivers: to the place where the name of Yahweh Sabaoth resides, Mount Zion.	7 En aquel tiempo, se llevarán dones Señor de los ejércitos de parte de un pueblo esbelto y bronceado, de un pueblo temible de cerca y de lejos, de una nación vigorosa y dominadora, cuyo país está surcado de ríos: se llevarán hasta el lugar donde reside el Nombre del Señor de los ejércitos, a la Montaña de Sión.
