2 who send ambassadors by sea, in little reed-boats across the waters! Go, swift messengers to a nationtal and bronzed, to a people feared far and near, a mighty and masterful nation whose country is criss-crossedwith rivers.	2 Che manda messi per lo mare, e in vaselli di giunchi sopra le acque, dicendo; Andate, messi leggieri, alla gente di lunga statura, e dipelata; al popolo spaventevole, che è più oltre di quella; alla gente sparsa qua e là, e calpestata, la cui terra i fiumi predano.
3 Al you who inhabit the world, you who people the earth, when the signal is hoisted on the mountains,you wil see, when the ram's-horn is sounded, you wil hear.	3 Voi tutti gli abitatori del mondo, e voi gli abitanti della terra, quando si leverà la bandiera sopra i monti, riguardate; e quando si sonerà la tromba, ascoltate.
4 For this is what Yahweh has told me, 'I shall sit here quietly looking down, like the burning heat in thedaytime, like a dewy mist in the heat of harvest.'	4 Perciocchè, così mi ha detto il Signore: Io me ne starò cheto, e riguarderò, dimorando nella mia stanza, a guisa di un calor chiaro più che il sole; come una nuvola rugiadosa nel calore della ricolta.
5 For, before the harvest, once the flowering is over and blossom turns into ripening grape, the brancheswil be cut off with pruning knives, and the shoots taken off, cut away.	5 Perciocchè, avanti la mietitura, dopo che la vite avrà finito di metter le gemme, e che il fiore sarà divenuto agresto, che si andrà maturando, Iddio taglierà i magliuoli con falci, e torrà via i tralci, e li riciderà.
6 Al has been abandoned to the mountain birds of prey and the wild animals: the birds of prey wilsummer on them, and al the wild animals winter on them.	6 Saranno tutti quanti lasciati in abbandono agli uccelli de’ monti, ed alle bestie della terra; e gli uccelli passeranno la state sopra essi, ed ogni bestia della terra vi passerà il verno.
