NEW JERUSALEM	LA SACRA BIBBIA
1 Disaster! Land of the whirring locust beyond the rivers of Cush,	1 Guai al paese dagl'insetti ronzanti, situato al di là dei fiumi dell'Etiopia,
2 who send ambassadors by sea, in little reed-boats across the waters! Go, swift messengers to a nationtal and bronzed, to a people feared far and near, a mighty and masterful nation whose country is criss-crossedwith rivers.	2 che manda per mare gli ambasciatori in canotti di papiro sulle acque. "Rapidi andate, messaggeri, verso la nazione slanciata e abbronzata, verso un popolo temibile da ora e per sempre, una nazione potente e vittoriosa, il cui paese è solcato da fiumi".
3 Al you who inhabit the world, you who people the earth, when the signal is hoisted on the mountains,you wil see, when the ram's-horn is sounded, you wil hear.	3 Voi tutti, abitanti del mondo e quanti dimorate nel paese, quando si leva il segnale sui monti, rimirate, e quando suona il corno, ascoltate!
4 For this is what Yahweh has told me, 'I shall sit here quietly looking down, like the burning heat in thedaytime, like a dewy mist in the heat of harvest.'	4 Perché così mi parlò il Signore: "Resterò tranquillo e mirerò dalla mia dimora qual torrido calore alla luce del sole e qual nube rugiadosa al calore della mietitura".
5 For, before the harvest, once the flowering is over and blossom turns into ripening grape, the brancheswil be cut off with pruning knives, and the shoots taken off, cut away.	5 Perché prima della raccolta, quando la fioritura è finita e il fiore è diventato un grappolo maturo, egli taglierà i pampini con le roncole, eliminerà e butterà via i tralci.

Gli avvoltoi passeranno l'estate sopra di essi, e le bestie della terra sopra di essi sverneranno.
7 Then, an offering will be brought to Yahweh Sabaoth on behalf of a people tal and bronzed, on behalfof a people feared far and near, on behalf of a mighty and masterful nation whose country is criss-crossed withrivers: to the place where the name of Yahweh Sabaoth resides, Mount Zion.	7 In quel tempo verranno portate al Signore degli eserciti offerte da parte di un popolo slanciato e abbronzato, da parte di un popolo terribile da ora e per sempre, un popolo potente e vittorioso, il cui paese è solcato da fiumi, verso il luogo in cui si trova il nome del Signore degli eserciti, il monte Sion.
