NEW JERUSALEM	BIBLIA
1 Cast your bread on the water, eventual y you wil recover it.	1 Echa tu pan al agua, que al cabo de mucho tiempo lo encontrarás.
2 Offer a share to seven or to eight people, you can never tell what disaster may occur.	2 Reparte con siete, y también con ocho, que no sabes qué mal puede venir sobre la tierra.
3 When clouds are ful of rain, they wil shed it on the earth. If a tree fal s, whether south or north, whereit falls, there it wil lie.	3 Si las nubes van llenas, vierten lluvia sobre la tierra, y caiga el árbol al sur o al norte, donde cae el árbol allí se queda.
4 Keep watching the wind and you wil never sow, keep staring at the clouds and you will never reap.	4 El que vigila el viento no siembra, el que mira a las nubes no siega.
5 You do not understand how the wind blows, or how the embryo grows in a woman's womb: no morecan you understand the work of God, the Creator of al .	5 Como no sabes cómo viene el espíritu a los huesos en el vientre de la mujer encinta, así tampoco sabes la obra de Dios que todo lo hace.
6 In the morning, sow your seed, until evening, do not cease from labour, for of any two things you donot know which wil succeed, or which of the two is the better.	6 De madrugada siembra tu simiente y a la tarde no des paz a tu mano. Pues no sabes si es menor esto o lo otro o si ambas cosas son igual de buenas.
7 How sweet light is, how delightful it is to see the sun!	7 Dulce es la luz y bueno para los ojos ver el sol.
8 However many years you live, enjoy them all, but remember, the days of darkness wil be many: futilityawaits you at the end.	8 Si uno vive muchos años, que se alegre en todos ellos, y tenga en cuenta que los días de tinieblas muchos serán, que es vanidad todo el porvenir.
9 Young man, enjoy yourself while you are young, make the most of the days of your youth, follow theprompting and desire of heart and eye, but remember, God wil cal you to account for everything.	9 Alégrate, mozo, en tu juventud, ten buen humor en tus años mozos, Vete por donde te lleve el corazón y a gusto de tus ojos; pero a sabiendas de que por todo ello te emplazará Dios a juicio.
10 Rid your heart of indignation, keep your body clear of suffering, though youth and the age of blackhair are both futile.	10 Aparta el mal humor de tu pecho y aleja el sufrimiento de tu carne, pero juventud y pelo negro, vanidad.
