NEW JERUSALEMKING JAMES BIBLE
[Psalm Of David When he was in the cave Prayer] To Yahweh I cry out with my plea. To Yahweh Icry out with entreaty.1 I cried unto the LORD with my voice; with my voice unto the LORD did I make my supplication.
I pour out my worry in his presence, in his presence I unfold my troubles.2 I poured out my complaint before him; I shewed before him my trouble.
However faint my spirit; you are watching over my path. On the road I have to travel they havehidden a trap for me.3 When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me.
Look on my right and see -- there is no one who recognises me. Al refuge is denied me, no onecares whether I live or die.4 I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul.
I cry out to you, Yahweh, I affirm, 'You are my refuge, my share in the land of the living!'5 I cried unto thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.
Listen to my cal ing, for I am miserably weak. Rescue me from my persecutors, for they are toostrong for me.6 Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I.
Lead me out of prison that I may praise your name. The upright gather round me because of yourgenerosity to me.7 Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.
