¹ [Psalm Of David When he was in the cave Prayer] To Yahweh I cry out with my plea. To Yahweh Icry out with entreaty.	¹ Maskil. Di Davide. Quando era nella caverna. Preghiera.
² I pour out my worry in his presence, in his presence I unfold my troubles.	² Con la mia voce grido al Signore,con la mia voce supplico il Signore;
³ However faint my spirit; you are watching over my path. On the road I have to travel they havehidden a trap for me.	³ davanti a lui sfogo il mio lamento,davanti a lui espongo la mia angoscia,
⁴ Look on my right and see -- there is no one who recognises me. Al refuge is denied me, no onecares whether I live or die.	⁴ mentre il mio spirito viene meno.Tu conosci la mia via:nel sentiero dove camminomi hanno teso un laccio.
⁵ I cry out to you, Yahweh, I affirm, 'You are my refuge, my share in the land of the living!'	⁵ Guarda a destra e vedi:nessuno mi riconosce.Non c’è per me via di scampo,nessuno ha cura della mia vita.
⁶ Listen to my cal ing, for I am miserably weak. Rescue me from my persecutors, for they are toostrong for me.	⁶ Io grido a te, Signore!Dico: «Sei tu il mio rifugio,sei tu la mia eredità nella terra dei viventi».
⁷ Lead me out of prison that I may praise your name. The upright gather round me because of yourgenerosity to me.	⁷ Ascolta la mia supplicaperché sono così misero!Liberami dai miei persecutoriperché sono più forti di me.
	⁸ Fa’ uscire dal carcere la mia vita,perché io renda grazie al tuo nome;i giusti mi faranno coronaquando tu mi avrai colmato di beni.
