Psalms 110

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 [Of David Psalm] Yahweh declared to my Lord, 'Take your seat at my right hand, til I have madeyour enemies your footstool.'	1 De David. Salmo. Dijo el Señor a mi Señor: «Siéntate a mi derecha, mientras yo pongo a tus enemigos como estrado de tus pies».
2 Yahweh will stretch out the sceptre of your power; from Zion you wil rule your foes al around you.	2 El Señor extenderá el poder de tu cetro: «¡Domina desde Sión, en medio de tus enemigos!».
3 Royal dignity has been yours from the day of your birth, sacred honour from the womb, from thedawn of your youth.	3 «Tú eres príncipe desde tu nacimiento, con esplendor de santidad; yo mismo te engendré como rocío, desde el seno de la aurora».
4 Yahweh has sworn an oath he wil never retract, you are a priest for ever of the order of Melchizedek.	4 El Señor lo ha jurado y no se retractará: «Tú eres sacerdote para siempre, a la manera de Melquisedec».
5 At your right hand, Lord, he shatters kings when his anger breaks out.	5 A tu derecha, Señor, él derrotará a los reyes, en el día de su enojo;
6 He judges nations, heaping up corpses, he breaks heads over the whole wide world.	6 juzgará a las naciones, amontonará cadáveres y aplastará cabezas por toda la tierra.
7 He drinks from a stream as he goes, and therefore he holds his head high.	7 En el camino beberá del torrente, por eso erguirá su cabeza.
