Psalms 110

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA TINTORI
1 [Of David Psalm] Yahweh declared to my Lord, 'Take your seat at my right hand, til I have madeyour enemies your footstool.'	1 Te celebrerò, o Signore, con tutto il mio cuore, nella riunione dei giusti e nell'adunanza.
2 Yahweh will stretch out the sceptre of your power; from Zion you wil rule your foes al around you.	2 Grandi sono le opere del Signore, meditate da tutti quelli che lo amano.
3 Royal dignity has been yours from the day of your birth, sacred honour from the womb, from thedawn of your youth.	3 Maestà e magnificenza è nel suo operare, e la sua giustizia dura in eterno.
4 Yahweh has sworn an oath he wil never retract, you are a priest for ever of the order of Melchizedek.	4 Ha lasciato un ricordo delle sue maraviglie il Signore clemente e misericordioso:
5 At your right hand, Lord, he shatters kings when his anger breaks out.	5 Dà il cibo a quei che lo temono, e si ricorda sempre del suo testamento.
6 He judges nations, heaping up corpses, he breaks heads over the whole wide world.	6 Ha mostrato al suo popolo la potenza delle sue opere
7 He drinks from a stream as he goes, and therefore he holds his head high.	7 Col dargli l'eredità delle genti. Le sue opere son verità e giustizia.
	8 Sono immutabili i suoi comandamenti, confermati per tutti i secoli, fondati sulla verità e l'equità.
	9 Ha mandato la redenzione al suo popolo, ha sancito in eterno il suo patto. Santo e terribile è il suo nome.
	10 Principio della sapienza è il timor di Dio. Molto saggio è colui che segue questa norma: la sua lode durerà in eterno.
