1 How blessed is anyone who rejects the advice of the wicked and does not take a stand in the path that sinners tread, nor a seat in company with cynics,	1 Beato l'uomo che non cammina secondo il consiglio degli empi, e non si ferma nella via dei peccatori, nè si pone a sedere sulla cattedra di pestilenza.
2 but who delights in the law of Yahweh and murmurs his law day and night.	2 Ma trova il suo diletto nella legge del Signore, sulla quale va meditando giorno e notte.
3 Such a one is like a tree planted near streams; it bears fruit in season and its leaves never wither, and every project succeeds.	3 Egli è come albero piantato lungo le correnti delle acque, che a suo tempo non mancherà di dare il suo frutto. Le sue foglie non cadono, e tutto quello che egli fa, riesce bene.
4 How different the wicked, how different! Just like chaff blown around by the wind	4 Non così gli empi, non così! Essi sono come pula dispersa dal vento.
5 the wicked will not stand firm at the Judgement nor sinners in the gathering of the upright.	5 Perciò non reggeranno gli empi nel giudizio, nè i peccatori nell'assemblea dei giusti;
6 For Yahweh watches over the path of the upright, but the path of the wicked is doomed.	6 Perchè il Signore prendo a cuore la via dei giusti, e la strada degli empi finisce nella perdizione.
