¹ How blessed is anyone who rejects the advice of the wicked and does not take a stand in the path that sinners tread, nor a seat in company with cynics,	¹ Boldog az az ember, aki nem követi a gonoszok tanácsát, nem áll a vétkesek útján, és nem ül le a gúnyolódók gyülekezetében,
² but who delights in the law of Yahweh and murmurs his law day and night.	² hanem az Úr törvényében leli kedvét, s törvényét éjjel-nappal eszében forgatja!
³ Such a one is like a tree planted near streams; it bears fruit in season and its leaves never wither, and every project succeeds.	³ Olyan, mint a folyóvíz mellé ültetett fa, amely idejében meghozza gyümölcsét, és amelynek nem hull le a lombja. Boldogul minden dolgában.
⁴ How different the wicked, how different! Just like chaff blown around by the wind	⁴ Nem így járnak a gonoszok, nem így, hanem úgy, miként a szálló por, amelyet elsodor a szél.
⁵ the wicked will not stand firm at the Judgement nor sinners in the gathering of the upright.	⁵ Ezért a gonoszok meg nem állnak ítéletkor, sem a vétkesek az igazak gyülekezetében.
⁶ For Yahweh watches over the path of the upright, but the path of the wicked is doomed.	⁶ Mert ismeri az Úr az igazak útját, de elvész az istentelenek ösvénye.
