1 Yahweh then said to Moses, 'Now you wil see what I am going to do to Pharaoh. A mighty hand wilforce him to let them go, a mighty hand will force him to expel them from his country.'	1 E il Signore disse a Mosè: Or tu vedrai quel ch'io farò a Faraone: perocché forzato da man forte li lascerà andare, e forzato da man gagliarda li caccerà dalla sua terra.
2 God spoke to Moses and said to him, 'I am Yahweh.	2 E il Signore parlò a Mosè, dicendo: Io il Signore,
3 To Abraham, Isaac and Jacob I appeared as El Shaddai, but I did not make my name Yahweh known tothem.	3 Il quale apparìi ad Abramo, a Isacco, e a Giacobbe qual Dio onnipotente: e non rivelai ad essi il mio nome Adonai.
4 I also made my covenant with them to give them the land of Canaan, the country in which they wereliving as aliens.	4 E fermai con essi il patto di dar loro la terra di Chanaan, la terra del loro pellegrinaggio, e in cui furono forestieri.
5 Furthermore, I have heard the groaning of the Israelites, enslaved by the Egyptians, and haveremembered my covenant.	5 Io ho uditi i gemiti dei figliuoli d'Israele per la oppressione, che soffron dagli Egiziani, e mi son ricordato del mio patto.
6 So say to the Israelites, "I am Yahweh. I shall free you from the forced labour of the Egyptians; I shalrescue you from their slavery and I shal redeem you with outstretched arm and mighty acts of judgement.	6 Per questo di' tu a' figliuoli d'Israele: Io il Signore, il quale trarrovvi di sotto al giogo degli Egiziani, e vi libererò dalla schiavitù: e vi riscatterò, steso il mio braccio, con grandi vendette.
7 I shall take you as my people and I shal be your God. And you wil know that I am Yahweh your God,who have freed you from the forced labour of the Egyptians.	7 E voi prenderò per mio popolo, e io sarò vostro Dio: e conoscerete, che io sono il Signore Dio vostro, che vi avrò tratti di sotto al giogo degli Egiziani;
8 Then I shal lead you into the country which I swore I would give to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, andshall give it to you as your heritage, I, Yahweh." '	8 E v'introdurrò nella terra, la quale, alzata la mia mano, io giurai di dare ad Abramo, a Isacco, e a Giacobbe: e la darò a voi in dominio, io il Signore.
9 And Moses repeated this to the Israelites, but they would not listen to Moses, so crushed was their spiritand so cruel their slavery.	9 E Mosè raccontò ogni cosa ai figliuoli d'Israele: i quali non si acquietarono a motivo dell'affanno del loro cuore, e delle fatiche gravissime.
10 Yahweh then said to Moses,	10 E il Signore parlò a Mosè, e disse:
11 'Go to Pharaoh, king of Egypt, and tel him to let the Israelites leave his country.'	11 Va', e parla a Faraone re d'Egitto, che lasci partire dalla sua terra i figliuoli d’Israele.
12 But Moses spoke out in Yahweh's presence and said, 'The Israelites have not listened to me, so whyshould Pharaoh take any notice of a poor speaker like me?'	12 Rispose Mosè al Signore: Tu vedi, come i figliuoli d'Israele non mi danno retta: e come mi darà retta Faraone, particolarmente essendo io inetto a parlare?
13 Yahweh spoke to Moses and Aaron and sent them to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to lead the Israelites outof Egypt.	13 E il Signore parlò a Mosè, e ad Aronne; e gli spedì a' figliuoli d'Israele, e a Faraone re d'Egitto, affinché essi conducessero via dall'Egitto i figliuoli d'Israele.
14 These were their heads of families: The sons of Reuben, Israel's first-born: Hanoch, Pal u, Hezron andCarmi: these are the clans of Reuben.	14 Questi sono i capi delle tribù secondo la famiglia di ciascheduno. Figliuoli di Ruben primogenito d'Israele: Henoch, e Phallu, Hesron, e Charmi.
15 The sons of Simeon: Jemuel, Jamin, Ohad, Jachin, Zohar, and Shaul son of the Canaanite woman:these are the clans of Simeon.	15 Queste son le famiglie di Ruben. I figliuoli di Simeon: Jamuel, e Jamin, e Ahod, Jachin, e Soar, e Saul figliuolo d'una Chananea. Questa la progenie di Simeon.
16 These were the names of the sons of Levi with their descendants: Gershon, Kohath and Merari. Levilived for a hundred and thirty-seven years.	16 E questi sono i nomi de' figliuoli di Levi secondo le loro famiglie: Gerson, e Caath, e Merari. Gli anni, che visse Levi, furono cento trenta sette.
17 The sons of Gershon: Libni and Shimei, with their clans.	17 Figliuoli di Gerson: Lobni, e Semei colle loro famiglie.
18 The sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron and Uzziel. Kohath lived for a hundred and thirty-threeyears.	18 Figliuoli di Caath: Amram, e Isaar, ed Hebron, e Oziel: e gli anni, che visse Caat, furono cento trentatré.
19 The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. These are the clans of Levi with their descendants.	19 Figliuoli di Merari: Moholi, e Musi: questi i posteri di Levi secondo le loro famiglie.
20 Amram married Jochebed, his aunt, who bore him Aaron and Moses. Amram lived for a hundred andthirty-seven years.	20 Amran prese per moglie Joehabed, figliuola di suo zio paterno, la quale partorì a lui Aronne e Mosè. E gli anni, che visse Amram, furono cento trentasette.
21 The sons of Izhar were: Korah, Nepheg and Zichri.	21 I figliuoli d'Isaar: Core, e Nepheg, e Zechri.
22 And the sons of Uzziel: Mishael, Elzaphan and Sithri.	22 I figliuoli di Oziel: Misael, ed Elisaphan, e Sethri.
23 Aaron married Elisheba daughter of Amminadab and sister of Nahshon, and she bore him Nadab,Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.	23 E Aronne prese per moglie Elisabeth, figliuola di Aminadab, sorella di Nahasson, la quale partorì a lui Nadab, e Abiu, ed Eleazar, e Ithamar.
24 The sons of Korah: Assir, Elkanah and Abiasaph. These are the clans of the Korahites.	24 Figliuoli di Core: Aser, ed Elcana, e Abiasaph: queste le famiglie de' pastori di Core.
25 Eleazar, son of Aaron, married one of Putiel's daughters who bore him Phinehas. These were theLevitical heads of families, according to clan.	25 Eleazar poi figliuolo di Aronne prese per moglie una delle figliuole di Phutiel, la quale gli partorì Phinees. Questi sono i capi delle famiglie Levitiche colle loro discendenze.
26 It was to this Aaron and Moses that Yahweh said, 'Lead the Israelites out of Egypt in their armies.'	26 Questo è quell'Aronne, e quel Mosè, a' quali il Signore ordinò di trarre i figliuoli d'Israele dalla terra d'Egitto, spartiti nelle loro bande.
27 It was they who spoke to Pharaoh, king of Egypt, to lead the Israelites out of Egypt -- namely Mosesand Aaron.	27 Questi son quelli che parlarono a Faraone re d'Egitto per trarre fuori d'Egitto i figliuoli d'Israele: questi sono Mosè, e Aronne.
28 Now the day when Yahweh spoke to Moses in Egypt,	28 E avvenne, che nel giorno, in cui il Signore fé parola a Mosè nella terra d'Egitto,
29 Yahweh said to Moses, 'Tell Pharaoh king of Egypt everything that I am going to say to you.'	29 Il Signore disse allo stesso Mosè: Io il Signore: esponi a Faraone d'Egitto tutto quello che io ti dico.
30 But Moses said to Yahweh's face, 'I am a poor speaker, so why should Pharaoh take any notice ofme?'	30 E Mosè disse al Signore: Tu vedi, come io sono inetto a parlare: come mi ascolterà Faraone?
