1 Yahweh then spoke to Moses and said,	1 E il Signore parlò a Mosè, e disse:
2 'On the first day of the first month, you wil erect the Dwel ing, the Tent of Meeting,	2 Il primo mese, il primo giorno del mese alzerai il tabernacolo del testimonio,
3 and place the ark of the Testimony in it and screen the ark with the curtain.	3 E vi porrai l'arca, e stenderai il velo davanti ad essa:
4 You will then bring in the table and arrange what has to be arranged on it. You wil then bring in thelamp-stand and set up its lamps.	4 E portata dentro la mensa, sopra di questa porrai ordinatamente quello che è stato comandato. Vi sarà il candelabro colle sue lampade,
5 You will place the golden altar of incense in front of the ark of the Testimony, and place the screen atthe entrance to the Dwel ing.	5 E l'altare d'oro, dove dee bruciarsi l'incenso, dinanzi all'arca del testimonio: metterai un velo all'ingresso del tabernacolo;
6 You will place the altar of burnt offerings in front of the entrance to the Dwel ing, the Tent of Meeting,	6 E davanti a questo (velo) l'altare degli olocausti:
7 and you wil place the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and fil it with water.	7 La vasca, cui tu empirai d’acqua, sarà tra l'altare, e il tabernacolo,
8 You will then set up the surrounding court and hang the screen at the gateway of the court.	8 E cingerai con tende l'atrio, e il suo ingresso.
9 Then, taking the anointing oil, you will anoint the Dwelling and everything inside, consecrating it and alits accessories; it wil then be holy.	9 E preso l'olio di santificazione, ungerai il tabernacolo, e le cose, che ad esso servono, affinché sieno santificate:
10 You wil then anoint the altar of burnt offerings and all its accessories, consecrating the altar; the altarwil then be especial y holy.	10 L'altare degli olocausti, e tutti i suoi strumenti:
11 You wil then anoint the basin and its stand, and consecrate it.	11 La vasca colla sua base: tutto questo ungerai coll'olio di santificazione, affinché sieno cose santissime.
12 You wil then bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting, bathe them thoroughly	12 E farai, che Aronne, e i suoi figliuoli si accostino alle porte del tabernacolo del testimonio, e lavatili coll'acqua
13 and then dress Aaron in the sacred vestments, and anoint and consecrate him, to serve me in thepriesthood.	13 Li rivestirai delle vestimenta sante, affinché servano a me; e la loro consacrazione avrà l'effetto d'un sacerdozio sempiterno.
14 You wil then bring his sons, dress them in tunics	14 E Mosè fece tutte le cose ordinate dal Signore.
15 and anoint them as you anointed their father, to serve me in the priesthood. Their anointing willconfer an everlasting priesthood on them for al their generations to come.'	15 Quindi il primo mese del secondo anno, il primo giorno del mese fu eretto il tabernacolo.
16 Moses did this; he did exactly as Yahweh had ordered him.	16 Mosè lo eresse, e pose a' loro luoghi le tavole, le basi e le stanghe, e alzò le colonne;
17 On the first day of the first month in the second year the Dwel ing was erected.	17 E stese le cortine sopra il tabernacolo, e messavi la coperta, come avea comandato il Signore,
18 Moses erected the Dwel ing. He fixed its sockets, set up its frames, put its crossbars in position andset up its poles.	18 Pose quindi il testimonio nell'arca, e inserì da basso le stanghe, e nella parte superiore pose l'oracolo.
19 He spread the tent over the Dwel ing and the covering for the tent over that, as Yahweh had orderedMoses.	19 E avendo portata l'arca nel tabernacolo, sospese dinanzi ad essa il velo per eseguire il comando del Signore.
20 He took the Testimony and put it in the ark, positioned the shafts on the ark and put the mercy-seaton top of the ark.	20 Collocò eziandio la mensa dalla parte settentrionale del tabernacolo del testimonio fuori del velo,
21 He brought the ark into the Dwel ing and put the screening curtain in place, screening the ark of theTestimony, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	21 Avendovi disposti in faccia (al Signore) i pani della proposizione, conforme il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.
22 He put the table inside the Tent of Meeting, against the side of the Dwel ing, on the north, outside thecurtain,	22 Pose di poi il candelabro nel tabernacolo del testimonio dirimpetto alla mensa dalla parte di mezzodì,
23 and on it arranged the loaves before Yahweh, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	23 Poste a' luoghi loro le lampade secondo il comandamento del Signore.
24 He put the lamp-stand inside the Tent of Meeting, opposite the table, on the south side of theDwelling,	24 Pose anche l'altare d'oro sotto le cortine del testimonio dinanzi al velo.
25 and set up the lamps before Yahweh, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	25 E bruciò sopra di esso incenso di aromi, conforme aveva ordinalo il Signore a Mosè.
26 He put the golden altar inside the Tent of Meeting, in front of the curtain,	26 Pose anche la tenda all'ingresso del tabernacolo del testimonio.
27 and on it burnt fragrant incense, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	27 E l'altare degli olocausti nel vestibolo del testimonio, e vi offerì olocausti, e sacrifizii, come avea comandato il Signore.
28 He then put the screen at the entrance to the Dwel ing.	28 E pose anche la vasca tra'l tabernacolo del testimonio, e l'altare, avendola empita d'acqua.
29 He put the altar of burnt offerings at the entrance to the Dwel ing, to the Tent of Meeting, and on itoffered the burnt offering and cereal offering, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	29 E lavarono Mosè e Aronne, e i figliuoli di questi le loro mani, e i piedi,
30 He put the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar and put water in it for the ablutions,	30 Quand’erano per entrare nella casa dell'alleanza, e accostarsi all'altare, come avea il Signore ordinato a Mosè.
31 where Moses, Aaron and his sons washed their hands and feet,	31 Eresse ancor l'atrio all'intorno del tabernacolo, e dell'altare, e pose all'ingresso d'esso la tenda. Dopo che tutte le cose furono compiute,
32 whenever they entered the Tent of Meeting or approached the altar they washed, as Yahweh hadordered Moses.	32 La nuvola ricoperse il tabernacolo del testimonio, e la gloria del Signore lo riempié.
33 He then set up the court round the Dwel ing and the altar and set up the screen at the gate-way tothe court. Thus Moses completed the work.	33 E non potea Mosè entrare nel tabernacolo dell’alleanza, essendo ogni cosa ricoperta dalla nuvola, e lampeggiando la maestà del Signore, avendo la nuvola ricoperte tutte le cose.
34 The cloud then covered the Tent of Meeting and the glory of Yahweh fil ed the Dwel ing.	34 Allorché la nuvola si partiva dal tabernacolo, i figliuoli d'Israele si mettevano in viaggio a schiera a schiera:
35 Moses could not enter the Tent of Meeting, since the cloud stayed over it and the glory of Yahwehfilled the Dwelling.	35 Dove questa restava sospesa in alto, si fermavano nel luogo stesso,
36 At every stage of their journey, whenever the cloud rose from the Dwel ing, the Israelites wouldresume their march.	36 Imperocché la nuvola del Signore copriva il tabernacolo di giorno, e di notte una fiamma a vista di tutto il popolo d'Israele in tutte le loro gite.
37 If the cloud did not rise, they would not resume their march until the day it did rise.
38 For Yahweh's cloud stayed over the Dwel ing during the daytime and there was fire inside the cloudat night, for the whole House of Israel to see, at every stage of their journey.
