Exodus 40

NEW JERUSALEM	DIODATI
1 Yahweh then spoke to Moses and said,	1 E IL Signore parlò a Mosè, dicendo:
2 'On the first day of the first month, you wil erect the Dwel ing, the Tent of Meeting,	2 Nel primo giorno del primo mese rizza la Tenda del Tabernacolo della convenenza.
3 and place the ark of the Testimony in it and screen the ark with the curtain.	3 E mettivi dentro l’Arca della Testimonianza, e tendi la Cortina davanti all’Arca.
4 You will then bring in the table and arrange what has to be arranged on it. You wil then bring in thelamp-stand and set up its lamps.	4 Poi portavi dentro la Tavola, e ordina ciò che deve essere ordinato in quella; portavi parimente il Candelliere, e accendi le sue lampane.
5 You will place the golden altar of incense in front of the ark of the Testimony, and place the screen atthe entrance to the Dwel ing.	5 E metti l’Altare d’oro per li profumi davanti all’Arca della Testimonianza; metti eziandio il Tappeto all’entrata del Tabernacolo.
6 You will place the altar of burnt offerings in front of the entrance to the Dwel ing, the Tent of Meeting,	6 E metti l’Altare degli olocausti davanti all’entrata della Tenda del Tabernacolo della convenenza.
7 and you wil place the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and fil it with water.	7 E metti la Conca fra il Tabernacolo della convenenza, e l’Altare; e mettivi dentro dell’acqua.
8 You will then set up the surrounding court and hang the screen at the gateway of the court.	8 Disponi ancora il Cortile d’intorno, e metti il Tappeto all’entrata del Cortile.
9 Then, taking the anointing oil, you will anoint the Dwelling and everything inside, consecrating it and alits accessories; it wil then be holy.	9 Poi piglia l’olio dell’Unzione, e ungine il Tabernacolo, e tutto quello chi vi sarà dentro; e consacralo, con tutti i suoi arredi; e sarà cosa santa.
10 You wil then anoint the altar of burnt offerings and all its accessories, consecrating the altar; the altarwil then be especial y holy.	10 Ungi parimente l’Altar degli olocausti, e tutti i suoi strumenti, e consacra l’Altare; e sarà cosa santissima.
11 You wil then anoint the basin and its stand, and consecrate it.	11 Ungi ancora la Conca, e il suo piè, e consacrala.
12 You wil then bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting, bathe them thoroughly	12 Poi fa’ accostare Aaronne e i suoi figliuoli, all’entrata del Tabernacolo della convenenza; e lavali con acqua.
13 and then dress Aaron in the sacred vestments, and anoint and consecrate him, to serve me in thepriesthood.	13 E fai vestire ad Aaronne i vestimenti sacri, e ungilo, e consacralo; e così amministrimi egli il sacerdozio.
14 You wil then bring his sons, dress them in tunics	14 Fa’ eziandio accostare i suoi figliuoli, e fa’ lor vestir le toniche.
15 and anoint them as you anointed their father, to serve me in the priesthood. Their anointing willconfer an everlasting priesthood on them for al their generations to come.'	15 E ungili, come tu avrai unto il padre loro; e così amministrimi il sacerdozio; e la loro Unzione sarà loro per sacerdozio perpetuo, per le lor generazioni
16 Moses did this; he did exactly as Yahweh had ordered him.	16 E Mosè fece interamente come il Signore gli avea comandato.
17 On the first day of the first month in the second year the Dwel ing was erected.	17 E nell’anno secondo, nel primo giorno del primo mese, fu rizzato il Tabernacolo.
18 Moses erected the Dwel ing. He fixed its sockets, set up its frames, put its crossbars in position andset up its poles.	18 Mosè adunque rizzò il Tabernacolo; e, posati i suoi piedistalli, dispose le sue assi, e vi mise le sbarre, e rizzò le sue colonne.
19 He spread the tent over the Dwel ing and the covering for the tent over that, as Yahweh had orderedMoses.	19 E stese la Tenda sopra il Tabernacolo, e pose la coverta della Tenda sopra essa al disopra; come il Signore gli avea comandato.
20 He took the Testimony and put it in the ark, positioned the shafts on the ark and put the mercy-seaton top of the ark.	20 Poi prese la Testimonianza, e la pose dentro all’Arca; e mise le stanghe all’Arca; e posò il Coperchio in su l’Arca, disopra.
21 He brought the ark into the Dwel ing and put the screening curtain in place, screening the ark of theTestimony, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	21 E portò l’Arca dentro al Tabernacolo, e mise la Cortina che s’avea da tender davanti, e la tese davanti all’Arca della Testimonianza; come il Signore gli avea comandato.
22 He put the table inside the Tent of Meeting, against the side of the Dwel ing, on the north, outside thecurtain,	22 Poi mise la Tavola nel Tabernacolo della convenenza, dal lato settentrionale del Tabernacolo, difuori della Cortina;
23 and on it arranged the loaves before Yahweh, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	23 e mise per ordine sopra essa i pani che si aveano da tenere in ordine davanti al Signore; come il Signore gli avea comandato.
24 He put the lamp-stand inside the Tent of Meeting, opposite the table, on the south side of theDwelling,	24 Poi mise il Candelliere nel Tabernacolo della convenenza, dirimpetto alla Tavola, dal lato australe del Tabernacolo;
25 and set up the lamps before Yahweh, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	25 e accese le lampane davanti al Signore; come il Signore gli avea comandato.
26 He put the golden altar inside the Tent of Meeting, in front of the curtain,	26 Poi mise l’Altar d’oro nel Tabernacolo della convenenza, davanti alla Cortina;
27 and on it burnt fragrant incense, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	27 e bruciò sopra esso il profumo degli aromati; come il Signore gli avea comandato.
28 He then put the screen at the entrance to the Dwel ing.	28 Poi mise il Tappeto all’entrata del Tabernacolo.
29 He put the altar of burnt offerings at the entrance to the Dwel ing, to the Tent of Meeting, and on itoffered the burnt offering and cereal offering, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	29 E pose l’Altar degli olocausti all’entrata della Tenda del Tabernacolo della convenenza; e offerse sopra esso l’olocausto, e l’offerta; come il Signore gli avea comandato.
30 He put the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar and put water in it for the ablutions,	30 E pose la Conca fra il Tabernacolo della convenenza, e l’Altare; e vi mise dentro dell’acqua, da lavare.
31 where Moses, Aaron and his sons washed their hands and feet,	31 E Mosè, ed Aaronne, e i suoi figliuoli, se ne lavarono le mani ed i piedi.
32 whenever they entered the Tent of Meeting or approached the altar they washed, as Yahweh hadordered Moses.	32 Quando entravano nel Tabernacolo della convenenza, e quando si accostavano all’Altare, si lavavano; come il Signore avea comandato a Mosè.
33 He then set up the court round the Dwel ing and the altar and set up the screen at the gate-way tothe court. Thus Moses completed the work.	33 Poi rizzò il Cortile d’intorno al Tabernacolo, e all’Altare; e mise il Tappeto all’entrata del Cortile. Così Mosè fornì l’opera
34 The cloud then covered the Tent of Meeting and the glory of Yahweh fil ed the Dwel ing.	34 E la nuvola coperse il Tabernacolo della convenenza, e la gloria del Signore empiè il Tabernacolo.
35 Moses could not enter the Tent of Meeting, since the cloud stayed over it and the glory of Yahwehfilled the Dwelling.	35 E Mosè non potè entrare nel Tabernacolo della convenenza; conciossiachè la nuvola si fosse posata sopra esso, e la gloria del Signore empiesse il Tabernacolo.
36 At every stage of their journey, whenever the cloud rose from the Dwel ing, the Israelites wouldresume their march.	36 Or, quando la nuvola s’alzava d’in sul Tabernacolo, i figliuoli d’Israele si partivano; ciò avvenne in tutte le lor mosse.
37 If the cloud did not rise, they would not resume their march until the day it did rise.	37 E, quando la nuvola non si alzava, non si partivano, fino al giorno ch’ella s’alzava.
38 For Yahweh's cloud stayed over the Dwel ing during the daytime and there was fire inside the cloudat night, for the whole House of Israel to see, at every stage of their journey.	38 Perciocchè la nuvola del Signore era di giorno sopra il Tabernacolo, e un fuoco v’era di notte, alla vista di tutta la casa d’Israele, in tutti i lor viaggi
