NEW JERUSALEM	KÁLDI-NEOVULGÁTA
1 Thus all the work done by Solomon for the Temple of Yahweh was completed, and Solomon brought inthe gifts which his father David had consecrated; and he had the silver, the gold and all the utensils put into thetreasuries of the Temple of God.	1 Ekkor Salamon bevitte mindazt, amit atyja, Dávid fogadott, az ezüstöt, az aranyat, meg az összes edényeket és elhelyezte azokat az Isten házának kincstárában.
2 Solomon then assembled the elders of Israel to Jerusalem, al the tribal chiefs, the princes of thefamilies of Israel, to bring the ark of the covenant of Yahweh up from the City of David, that is, Zion.	2 Azután egybegyűjtötte Izrael véneit s a törzsek minden fejedelmét s Izrael fiainak családfőit Jeruzsálembe, hogy elhozzák az Úr szövetségének ládáját a Dávid-városból, vagyis a Sionról.
3 Al the men of Israel assembled round the king at the time of the feast, that is, in the seventh month.	3 El is jöttek Izrael férfiai mindnyájan a királyhoz, a hetedik hónapban levő ünnepen.
4 When all the elders of Israel had arrived, the Levites took up the ark;	4 Amikor pedig Izrael vénei valamennyien eljöttek, felvették a leviták a ládát
5 they brought up the ark and the Tent of Meeting and al the sacred utensils which were in the Tent; thelevitical priests brought them up.	5 és bevitték a sátor minden felszerelésével együtt. A szentély eszközeit, amelyek a sátorban voltak, szintén felvitték a papok a levitákkal.
6 King Solomon and the whole assembly of Israel present with him before the ark sacrificed countless,innumerable sheep and oxen.	6 Salamon király s Izrael egész gyülekezete s mindazok, akik egybegyűltek a láda előtt, annyi kost és bikát mutattak be áldozatul, hogy meg sem lehetett azokat számlálni, mert igen nagy volt az áldozati állatok száma.
7 The priests brought the ark of the covenant of Yahweh to its place, in the Debir of the Temple, that is, inthe Holy of Holies, under the wings of the winged creatures;	7 Aztán a papok bevitték az Úr szövetségének ládáját a helyére, azaz a templom felelőhelyére, a Szentek Szentjébe, a kerubok szárnya alá,
8 for they spread their wings over the place where the ark stood, forming a canopy over the ark and itsshafts.	8 úgyhogy a kerubok éppen afölött a hely fölött terjesztették ki szárnyukat, ahol a ládát elhelyezték, és befedték a ládát rúdjaival együtt.
9 The shafts were so long, however, that the ends of the shafts of the ark could be seen in front of theHoly Place in front of the Debir, though they could not be seen from outside. They are still there today.	9 A láda hordozórúdjainak végét, mivel kissé hosszabbak voltak, a felelőhely előtt ugyan látni lehetett, de ha valaki egy kissé kijjebb volt, nem látta őket. Így volt ott a láda mind a mai napig.
10 There was nothing in the ark except the two tablets which Moses had placed in it at Horeb, whenYahweh made a covenant with the Israelites when they came out of Egypt.	10 A ládában nem volt semmi sem, csak az a két tábla, amelyet Mózes helyezett bele a Hórebnél, amikor az Úr törvényt adott Izrael Egyiptomból kijövő fiainak.
11 Now when the priests came out of the Holy Place -- for al the priests present had sanctifiedthemselves regardless of the orders to which they belonged,	11 Amikor aztán kijöttek a papok a szentélyből (valamennyi ott levő pap elvégezte ugyanis a megszentelődést, mert akkor még nem volt közöttük felosztva a szolgálat sora és rendje),
12 and al the levitical singers, Asaph, Heman and Jeduthun with their sons and brothers, dressed inlinen, were standing to the east of the altar with cymbals, lyres and harps and with them one hundred and twentypriests blowing the trumpets,	12 a leviták és az énekesek, vagyis azok, akik Ászáf alatt, meg azok, akik Emán alatt, meg azok, akik Iditun alatt voltak, az ő fiaik és testvéreik, bisszusba öltözve, az oltár keleti oldalán állva cintényérokon, hárfákon és lantokon játszottak, mellettük pedig százhúsz pap trombitált.
13 and the harmony between trumpeters and singers was such that only one melody could be heard asthey praised and gave thanks to Yahweh -- and the singing began, to the accompaniment of trumpets, cymbalsand musical instruments, and they praised Yahweh 'for he is good, for his faithful love is everlasting' -- then theTemple was fil ed with the cloud of the glory of Yahweh,	13 Mivel valamennyien egyszerre zendítettek rá a trombitákra, az énekszóra, a cintányérokra, a hangszerekre és a különféle zeneszerszámokra és fennhangon énekeltek, messzire hallatszott a hang. Amikor pedig elkezdték dicsérni az Urat és ismételni, hogy: »Dicsérjétek az Urat, mert jó, mert irgalmassága örökkévaló« – a felhő betöltötte az Isten házát,
14 and because of the cloud the priests could not stay and perform their duties. For the glory of Yahwehfilled the Temple of God.	14 úgyhogy a papok a felhő miatt nem tudtak szolgálatba állni s szolgálni, mert az Úr dicsősége teljesen betöltötte az Isten házát.
