2 Chronicles 31

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA RICCIOTTI
1 When al this was complete, al Israel present went out to the towns of Judah, broke the pil ars, cutdown the sacred poles, wrecked the high places and the altars, and did away with them entirely throughoutJudah, Benjamin, Ephraim, and Manasseh. Then al the Israelites returned to their towns, everyone to hisproperty.	1 - Terminate tutte queste funzioni tutti gli Israeliti che si trovavano là, se ne andarono nelle città di Giuda e spezzarono i simulacri, tagliarono i boschetti sacri, demolirono i luoghi eccelsi e distrussero gli altari, non solo dei territori di Giuda e di Beniamino, ma anche di Efraim e di Manasse, fino a distruggerli completamente. Poi tutti i figli di Israele fecero ritorno ai loro possedimenti, alle loro città.
2 Hezekiah re-established the priestly and levitical orders, each man in his proper order according to hisduties, whether priest or Levite, to bring burnt offerings and communion sacrifices, to serve and to give thanksand praise within the gates of Yahweh's camp.	2 Ezechia poi costituì le classi dei sacerdoti e dei leviti, secondo le loro divisioni, assegnando a ciascuno tanto dei sacerdoti che dei leviti il proprio ufficio, sia per immolare gli olocausti e le ostie pacifiche, sia per il servizio e per lodare e cantare alla porta dell'accampamento del Signore.
3 He also established a king's portion from his possessions for the morning and evening burnt offerings,and the burnt offerings for the Sabbaths, New Moons and festivals, as laid down in the Law of Yahweh.	3 Spettava poi al re di fornire colle proprie sostanze il necessario onde far l'olocausto perenne, la mattina e la sera, nei sabati, nelle calende e nelle altre solennità; conforme a quanto è scritto nella legge di Mosè.
4 He furthermore requested the people living in Jerusalem to present the portion for the priests andLevites so that they might devote themselves to the Law of Yahweh.	4 Comandò altresì agli abitanti di Gerusalemme di dare ai sacerdoti e ai leviti la loro porzione, perchè potessero attendere a quanto prescrive la legge del Signore.
5 As soon as the order had been promulgated, the Israelites provided the first fruits of grain, new wine,olive oil, honey and every other kind of agricultural produce in abundance; they brought in an abundant tithe ofeverything.	5 Come questo ordine giunse alle orecchie della moltitudine, i figli di Israele offersero in gran quantità le primizie del vino, del frumento, dell'olio e anche del miele, e fecero offerta di tutte le decime di ciò che la terra produce.
6 The Israelites and Judaeans living in the towns of Judah also brought in the tithe of cattle and sheep,and the tithe of sacred gifts consecrated to Yahweh their God, laying them in heaps.	6 Parimenti i figli d'Israele e di Giuda, disseminati nelle città di Giuda, offrirono decime di buoi, di pecore, e di tutte quelle cose sante che avevano consacrato per voto al Signore Dio loro, e portando tutte queste cose ne fecero molti mucchi.
7 They began accumulating the heaps in the third month and had finished them by the seventh.	7 Cominciarono a formare questi mucchi il terzo mese e finirono il mese settimo.
8 When Hezekiah and the officials came to inspect the heaps they praised Yahweh and his peopleIsrael.	8 Essendosi poi portati colà Ezechia e i principi suoi, al vedere quei mucchi benedissero il Signore e il popolo d'Israele;
9 While Hezekiah was questioning the priests and Levites about the heaps,	9 poi Ezechia interrogò i sacerdoti e i leviti perchè quei mucchi stessero là.
10 Azariah, the chief priest, of the family of Zadok, replied as fol ows, 'Since they began bringing thecontributions to the Temple of Yahweh,' he said, 'we have had enough to eat and quantities left over, for Yahwehhas blessed his people; this mass of stuff is left.'	10 Azaria primo sacerdote, della stirpe di Sadoc, gli rispose: «Dacchè si cominciò a offrir le primizie nella casa del Signore, noi mangiamo a sazietà e ne rimase una gran quantità, poichè il Signore ha benedetto il suo popolo. Questa che vedi è appunto la gran copia di ciò che è rimasto».
11 Hezekiah then ordered them to have storerooms prepared in the Temple of Yahweh and, when theyhad got them ready,	11 Ezechia perciò comandò che si preparassero granai nella casa del Signore; e quando furono fatti,
12 they conscientiously brought in the contributions, tithes and consecrated gifts, Conaniah the Levitewas put in charge of them, with Shimei his brother as his assistant,	12 vi furono riposte fedelmente le primizie, le decime e tutto ciò che era stato offerto con voto; e vi fu preposto Conenia levita e al secondo posto Semei fratello di lui;
13 and with Jehiel, Azaziah, Nahath, Asahel, Jeremith, Jozabad, Eliel, Ismachiah, Mahath, and Benaiahas overseers under Conaniah and his brother Shimei, by order of King Hezekiah and of Azariah, the chief of theTemple of God.	13 e Jaiel, Azaria, Naat, Asael, Jerimot, Jozabad, Eliel, Jesmachia, Maat e Banaia furono messi sotto la dipendenza di Conenia e del fratello di lui Semei, per ordine del re Ezechia e di Azaria pontefice della casa di Dio, ai quali spettavano tutte le cose.
14 Kore son of Jimnah the Levite, keeper of the eastern gate, was made responsible for the voluntaryofferings to God and for providing the portion set aside for Yahweh and the most holy gifts.	14 Invece Core, figlio di Jemna levita e portiere della porta orientale, ebbe la custodia di ciò che era spontaneamente offerto al Signore e delle primizie e delle oblazioni fatte al Santo dei Santi;
15 Supporting him loyal y in the priestly towns were Eden, Miniamin, Jeshua, Shemaiah, Amariah andShechaniah, who made the distributions to their brothers in their various orders, whether high or low,	15 mentre sotto di lui stavano Eden, Beniamino, Jesue, Semeia, Amaria e Sechenia, ai quali fu affidato nelle città sacerdotali la distribuzione da farsi ai propri fratelli piccoli o grandi che fossero;
16 irrespective of their official genealogy, to the males of thirty years and upwards -- to each one whoattended the Temple of Yahweh to fulfil his daily obligations -- for the performance of their duties appropriate totheir orders:	16 fatta eccezione dei maschi dai tre anni in su, a tutti quelli che entravano nel tempio del Signore e vi convenivano per compiere ogni giorno gli uffici sacerdotali e le cerimonie secondo il loro turno;
17 the priests being registered according to family and the Levites of twenty years and upwardsaccording to their duties within their orders.	17 ai sacerdoti secondo le loro famiglie e ai leviti dai vent'anni in su secondo le loro schiere e i loro turni;
18 And the official genealogy included all their household, their wives, their sons and their daughters,throughout the community, since these men were obliged to keep sanctifying themselves anew.	18 a tutta la moltitudine, tanto alle mogli quanto ai figli loro, dell'uno e dell'altro sesso fedelmente veniva offerta una quantità di cibo di ciò che era stato santificato.
19 The Aaronite priests who lived on the pasture lands belonging to their towns, had men named inevery town to distribute portions to every male among the priests and to everyone included in the officialgenealogy of the Levites.	19 Eranvi poi tra i figli di Aronne, distribuiti per le campagne e nei sobborghi delle singole città, uomini i quali distribuivano le porzioni dovute a tutti i maschi della stirpe sacerdotale e levitica.
20 Hezekiah did this throughout all Judah. He did what Yahweh his God regards as good and right andloyal.	20 Ezechia adunque fece tutto ciò che è stato detto in tutto il territorio di Giuda, e fece ciò che è buono, retto e giusto al cospetto del Signor Dio suo
21 Everything that he undertook, whether in the service of the Temple of God or in connection with thelaw or the commandments, he did in absolute devotion to his God, and so succeeded.	21 in tutto quello che esigeva il ministero della casa del Signore, secondo la legge e le cerimonie, volendo così cercare il suo Dio con tutto il cuore; e ciò facendo, prosperò.
