Leviticus 24

1 The LORD said to Moses,	1 O Senhor disse a Moisés:
2 "Order the Israelites to bring you clear oil of crushed olives for the light, so that you may keep lamps burning regularly.	2 "Ordena aos israelitas que te tragam óleo puro de olivas esmagadas para manter, continuamente, acesas as lâmpadas do candelabro.
3 In the meeting tent, outside the veil that hangs in front of the commandments, Aaron shall set up the lamps to burn before the LORD regularly, from evening till morning. Thus, by a perpetual statute for you and your descendants,	3 Aarão prepará-las-á fora do véu do testemunho, na tenda de reunião, a fim de que elas queimem continuamente, da tarde à manhã, diante do Senhor.
4 the lamps shall be set up on the pure gold lampstand, to burn regularly before the LORD.	4 Disporá as lâmpadas no candelabro de ouro puro, para que queimem continuamente diante do Senhor.
5 "You shall take fine flour and bake it into twelve cakes, using two tenths of an ephah of flour for each cake.	5 Tomarás também flor de farinha e farás com ela doze bolos cozidos, cada um dos quais com dois décimos de efá.
6 These you shall place in two piles, six in each pile, on the pure gold table before the LORD.	6 Dispô-los-ás em duas pilhas de seis na mesa de ouro puro diante do Senhor.
7 On each pile put some pure frankincense, which shall serve as an oblation to the LORD, a token offering for the bread.	7 Sobre cada pilha porás incenso puro, que será um memorial oferecido pelo fogo ao Senhor.
8 Regularly on each sabbath day this bread shall be set out afresh before the LORD, offered on the part of the Israelites by an everlasting agreement.	8 Colocar-se-ão esses pães diante do Senhor a cada sábado, continuamente, da parte dos israelitas: esta é uma aliança perpétua.
9 It shall belong to Aaron and his sons, who must eat it in a sacred place, since, as something most sacred among the various oblations to the LORD, it is his by perpetual right."	9 Esses pães serão propriedade de Aarão e de seus filhos, que os comerão no lugar santo; isso será para eles uma coisa santíssima entre as ofertas feitas pelo fogo ao Senhor. É uma lei perpétua."
10 Among the Israelites there was a man born of an Israelite mother (Shelomith, daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan) and an Egyptian father.	10 O filho de uma mulher israelita, tendo por pai um egípcio, veio entre os israelitas. E, discutindo no acampamento com um deles,
11 This man quarreled publicly with another Israelite and cursed and blasphemed the LORD'S name. So the people brought him to Moses,	11 o filho da mulher israelita blasfemou contra o santo nome e o amaldiçoou. Sua mãe chamava-se Salumite, filha de Dabri, da tribo de Dã.
12 who kept him in custody till a decision from the LORD should settle the case for them.	12 Puseram-no em prisão até que Moisés tomasse uma decisão, segundo a ordem do Senhor."
13 The LORD then said to Moses,	13 Então o Senhor disse a Moisés:
14 "Take the blasphemer outside the camp, and when all who heard him have laid their hands on his head, let the whole community stone him.	14 "Faze sair do acampamento o blasfemo, e todos aqueles que o ouviram ponham a mão sobre a sua cabeça, e toda a assembléia o apedreje.
15 Tell the Israelites: Anyone who curses his God shall bear the penalty of his sin;	15 Dirás aos israelitas: todo aquele que amaldiçoar o seu Deus levará o seu pecado.
16 whoever blasphemes the name of the LORD shall be put to death. The whole community shall stone him; alien and native alike must be put to death for blaspheming the LORD'S name.	16 Quem blasfemar o nome do Senhor será punido de morte: toda a assembléia o apedrejará. Quer seja ele estrangeiro ou natural, se blasfemar contra o santo nome, será punido de morte."
17 "Whoever takes the life of any human being shall be put to death;	17 "Todo aquele que ferir mortalmente um homem será morto.
18 whoever takes the life of an animal shall make restitution of another animal. A life for a life!	18 Quem tiver ferido de morte um animal doméstico, dará outro em seu lugar: vida por vida.
19 Anyone who inflicts an injury on his neighbor shall receive the same in return.	19 Se um homem ferir o seu próximo, assim como fez, assim se lhe fará a ele:
20 Limb for limb, eye for eye, tooth for tooth! The same injury that a man gives another shall be inflicted on him in return.	20 fratura por fratura, olho por olho e dente por dente; ser-lhe-á feito o mesmo que ele fez ao seu próximo;
21 Whoever slays an animal shall make restitution, but whoever slays a man shall be put to death.	21 Quem matar um animal, restituirá outro, mas o que matar um homem será punido de morte.
22 You shall have but one rule, for alien and native alike. I, the LORD, am your God."	22 Só haverá uma lei entre vós tanto para o estrangeiro como para o natural: porque eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus".
23 When Moses told this to the Israelites, they took the blasphemer outside the camp and stoned him; they carried out the command that the LORD had given Moses.	23 Moisés transmitiu essas normas aos israelitas. Tiraram do acampamento o blasfemo e o apedrejaram, conforme a ordem que o Senhor tinha dado a Moisés.
