1 The LORD said to Moses,	1 Jahvè si rivolse a Mosè:
2 "This is the law for the victim of leprosy at the time of his purification. He shall be brought to the priest,	2 «Questa è la legge del lebbroso per il giorno della sua purificazione: Sarà condotto dal sacerdote
3 who is to go outside the camp to examine him. If the priest finds that the sore of leprosy has healed in the leper,	3 che uscirà dall’accampamento e lo osserverà. Se constaterà che è guarito e l’infezione della lebbra è scomparsa dal lebbroso,
4 he shall order the man who is to be purified, to get two live, clean birds, as well as some cedar wood, scarlet yarn, and hyssop.	4 ordinerà di prendere per l’uomo che si deve purificare due uccelli vivi e puri, legno di cedro, panno di colore scarlatto e issopo.
5 The priest shall then order him to slay one of the birds over an earthen vessel with spring water in it.	5 Il sacerdote ordinerà di immolare uno degli uccelli in un vaso di terracotta sull’acqua corrente.
6 Taking the living bird with the cedar wood, the scarlet yarn and the hyssop, the priest shall dip them all in the blood of the bird that was slain over the spring water,	6 Prenderà l’uccello vivo, il legno di cedro, il panno di colore scarlatto e l’issopo e li immergerà con l’uccello vivo nel sangue dell’uccello immolato sull’acqua corrente,
7 and then sprinkle seven times the man to be purified from his leprosy. When he has thus purified him, he shall let the living bird fly away over the countryside.	7 quindi aspergerà sette volte l’uomo che si deve purificare dalla lebbra e, dopo averlo purificato, mollerà l’uccello vivo nella campagna.
8 The man being purified shall then wash his garments and shave off all his hair and bathe in water; only when he is thus made clean may he come inside the camp; but he shall still remain outside his tent for seven days.	8 Chi si deve purificare sì laverà le vesti, si raderà tutti i peli, si sciacquerà con acqua e sarà puro. Poi entrerà nell’accampamento ma dimorerà per sette giorni fuori della sua tenda.
9 On the seventh day he shall again shave off all the hair of his head, his beard, his eyebrows, and any other hair he may have, and also wash his garments and bathe his body in water; and so he will be clean.	9 Al settimo giorno si raderà tutti i peli, i capelli, la barba, le sopracciglia: deve radersi tutti i peli; si laverà le vesti, si sciacquerà il capo con acqua e sarà puro.
10 "On the eighth day he shall take two unblemished male lambs, one unblemished yearling ewe lamb, three tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil for a cereal offering, and one log of oil.	10 L’ottavo giorno prenderà due agnelli senza difetto e una agnella dell’annata senza difetto, tre decimi di fior di farina intrisa nell’olio, come oblazione, e un log di olio.
11 The priest who performs the purification ceremony shall place the man who is being purified, as well as all these offerings, before the LORD at the entrance of the meeting tent.	11 Il sacerdote che purifica ordinerà di porre tutto ciò, insieme con l'uomo che si deve purificare, al cospetto di Jahvè, all’ingresso della Tenda del convegno.
12 Taking one of the male lambs, the priest shall present it as a guilt offering, along with the log of oil, waving them as a wave offering before the LORD.	12 Prenderà uno degli agnelli e lo offrirà in sacrificio di riparazione e così pure il log di olio; li agiterà al cospetto di Jahvè con il rito dell’agitazione.
13 (This lamb he shall slaughter in the sacred place where the sin offering and the holocaust are slaughtered; because, like the sin offering, the guilt offering belongs to the priest and is most sacred.)	13 Poi immolerà l’agnello nel luogo dove si immola la vittima del sacrificio espiatorio e la vittima dell’olocausto, nel luogo sacro; poiché per il sacerdote la vittima del sacrificio di riparazione è come quella del sacrificio di espiazione: è cosa santissima.
14 Then the priest shall take some of the blood of the guilt offering and put it on the tip of the man's right ear, the thumb of his right hand, and the big toe of his right foot.	14 Il sacerdote prenderà del sangue della vittima di riparazione e lo metterà sul lobo dell’orecchio destro, sul pollice della mano destra e sull’alluce del piede destro di colui che si deve purificare.
15 The priest shall also take the log of oil and pour some of it into the palm of his own left hand;	15 Prenderà il log di olio e ne verserà nel cavo della sua mano sinistra,
16 then, dipping his right forefinger in it, he shall sprinkle it seven times before the LORD.	16 intingerà il dito della mano destra nell’olio che sta nel cavo della mano sinistra e, con il dito, aspergerà sette volte al cospetto di Jahvè.
17 Of the oil left in his hand the priest shall put some on the tip of the man's right ear, the thumb of his right hand, and the big toe of his right foot, over the blood of the guilt offering.	17 L’olio che gli è rimasto nel cavo della mano il sacerdote lo metterà sul lob dell’orecchio destro, sul pollice della sia destra e sull’alluce del piede destro di colui che deve purificare, oltre il sangue della vittima di riparazione.
18 The rest of the oil in his hand the priest shall put on the head of the man being purified. Thus shall the priest make atonement for him before the LORD.	18 L’olio rimasto nel cavo della mano, il sacerdote lo metterà sulla testa di chi si deve purificare. Il sacerdote compirà così per lui il rito di espiazione al cospetto di Jahvè.
19 Only after he has offered the sin offering in atonement for the man's uncleanness shall the priest slaughter the holocaust	19 Quindi il sacerdote farà il sacrificio espiatorio e compirà il rito di espiazione per colui che si deve purificare dalla impurità. Poi immolerà la vittima dell’olocausto
20 and offer it, together with the cereal offering, on the altar before the LORD. When the priest has thus made atonement for him, the man will be clean.	20 e farà salire sull’altare l’olocausto e l’oblazione. Il sacerdote compirà così per lui il rito espiatorio e quegli sarà puro.
21 "If a man is poor and cannot afford so much, he shall take one male lamb for a guilt offering, to be used as a wave offering in atonement for himself, one tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil for a cereal offering, a log of oil,	21 Se chi si deve purificare è povero e le sue risorse non giungono a tanto, Prenderà un solo agnello come vittima per il sacrificio di riparazione, per il rito dell’agitazione e per espiare per lui; un decimo di fior di farina intrisa nel’olio come oblazione; un log di olio
22 and two turtledoves or pigeons, which he can more easily afford, the one as a sin offering and the other as a holocaust.	22 e due tortore o due colombi, secondo le sue risorse, di cui uno sarà per il sacrificio espiatorio e l’altro per l’olocausto.
23 On the eighth day of his purification he shall bring them to the priest, at the entrance of the meeting tent before the LORD.	23 L’ottavo giorno li presenterà al sacerdote per la propria purificazione, all’ingresso della Tenda del convegno, al cospetto di Jahvè.
24 Taking the guilt-offering lamb, along with the log of oil, the priest shall wave them as a wave offering before the LORD.	24 Il sacerdote, preso l’agnello del sacrificio di riparazione e il log di olio, li agiterà al cospetto di Jahvè con il rito dell’agitazione;
25 When he has slaughtered the guilt-offering lamb, he shall take some of its blood, and put it on the tip of the right ear of the man being purified, on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.	25 immolerà l’agnello del sacrificio di riparazione e, preso del sangue della vittima, ne metterà sul lobo dell’orecchio destro, sul pollice della mano destra e sull’alluce del piede destro di colui che si deve purificare;
26 The priest shall then pour some of the oil into the palm of his own left hand	26 dopo essersi versato l’olio nel cavo della mano sinistra,
27 and with his right forefinger sprinkle it seven times before the LORD.	27 il sacerdote, con il dito della mano destra, aspergerà sette volte al cospetto di Jahvè con l’olio che sta nel cavo della mano sinistra.
28 Some of the oil in his hand the priest shall also put on the tip of the man's right ear, the thumb of his right hand, and the big toe of his right foot, over the blood of the guilt offering.	28 Porrà l’olio che è nel cavo della mano sinistra, sul lobo dell’orecchio destro, sul pollice della mano destra e sull’alluce del piede destro di chi si deve purificare, sul posto dove si trova il sangue della vittima di riparazione.
29 The rest of the oil in his hand the priest shall put on the man's head. Thus shall he make atonement for him before the LORD.	29 L’olio che è rimasto nel cavo della mano il sacerdote lo metterà sulla testa di chi si deve purificare, per espiare per lui al cospetto di Jahvè.
30 Then, of the turtledoves or pigeons, such as the man can afford,	30 Con una delle tortore o con uno dei colombi — secondo quanto avrà fornito chi si deve purificare —
31 the priest shall offer up one as a sin offering and the other as a holocaust, along with the cereal offering. Thus shall the priest make atonement before the LORD for the man who is to be purified.	31 il sacerdote farà un sacrificio espiatorio e con l’altro un olocausto, oltre l’oblazione. Il sacerdote compirà così al cospetto di Jahvè il rito di espiazione per chi si deve purificare.
32 This is the law for one afflicted with leprosy who has insufficient means for his purification."	32 Questa è la legge quando il lebbroso senza sufficienti risorse deve compiere la sua purificazione».
33 The LORD said to Moses and Aaron,	33 Jahvè si rivolse a Mosè e ad Aronne:
34 "When you come into the land of Canaan, which I am giving you to possess, if I put a leprous infection on any house of the land you occupy,	34 «Quando sarete entrati nella terra di Canaan che io sto per darvi in proprietà, se io manderò un’infezione di lebbra in una casa della terra di vostra proprietà
35 the owner of the house shall come and report to the priest, 'It looks to me as if my house were infected.'	35 e il padrone della casa verrà ad avvertirne il sacerdote dicendo: “In casa mi è apparso qualcosa come un'infezione”,
36 The priest shall then order the house to be cleared out before he goes in to examine the infection, lest everything in the house become unclean. Only after this is he to go in to examine the house.	36 il sacerdote ordinerà di sgomberare la casa prima che il sacerdote venga a esaminare l’infezione affinché quanto è in essa non diventi impuro poi entrerà a vedere la casa.
37 If the priest, on examining it, finds that the infection on the walls of the house consists of greenish or reddish depressions which seem to go deeper than the surface of the wall,	37 Osserverà l’infezione: se constaterà sui muri della casa delle cavità verdastre o rossastre che formano un incavo nel muro,
38 he shall close the door of the house behind him and quarantine the house for seven days.	38 il sacerdote uscirà dalla casa sulla porta, e la farà chiudere per sette giorni.
39 On the seventh day the priest shall return to examine the house again. If he finds that the infection has spread on the walls,	39 Il sacerdote ritornerà al settimo giorno e se osserverà che l’infezione si è sviluppata sul muro della casa,
40 he shall order the infected stones to be pulled out and cast in an unclean place outside the city.	40 ordinerà di smuovere le pietre colpite dall’infezione e di gettarle fuori della città, in un luogo impuro,
41 The whole inside of the house shall then be scraped, and the mortar that has been scraped off shall be dumped in an unclean place outside the city.	41 farà raschiare le pareti interne della casa, e la polvere che raschieranno sarà versata fuori della città in un luogo impuro.
42 Then new stones shall be brought and put in the place of the old stones, and new mortar shall be made and plastered on the house.	42 Si prenderanno altre pietre di mettersi al posto delle prime e altra terra per intonacare la casa.
43 "If the infection breaks out once more after the stones have been pulled out and the house has been scraped and replastered,	43 Se dopo aver rimosso le pietre, l’infezione ritorna e si sviluppa nella casa si farà raschiare e intonacare la casa
44 the priest shall come again; and if he finds that the infection has spread in the house, it is corrosive leprosy, and the house is unclean.	44 e il sacerdote la esaminerà di nuovo: se constaterà che l’infezione si è sviluppata nella casa, si tratta lebbra pericolosa per la casa: questa è impura.
45 It shall be pulled down, and all its stones, beams and mortar shall be hauled away to an unclean place outside the city.	45 Farà quindi demolire casa, pietre, fogna intonaco e li farà portare fuori della città, in un luogo impuro.
46 Whoever enters a house while it is quarantined shall be unclean until evening.	46 Chiunque entrerà nella casa durante il tempo della chiusura sarà impuro fino a sera.
47 Whoever sleeps or eats in such a house shall also wash his garments.	47 Chi dormirà nella casa si dovrà lavare le vesti; chi vi mangerà si dovrà lavare le vesti.
48 If the priest finds, when he comes to examine the house, that the infection has in fact not spread after the plastering, he shall declare the house clean, since the infection has been healed.	48 Ma se il sacerdote verrà a osservarla e constaterà che, dopo l’intonacatura, l’infezione non si è più sviluppata nella casa, dichiarerà pura la casa; l’infezione è infatti guarita.
49 To purify the house, he shall take two birds, as well as cedar wood, scarlet yarn, and hyssop.	49 Per purificare la casa il sacerdote prenda due uccelli, legno di cedro, panno di colore scarlatto e issopo;
50 One of the birds he shall slay over an earthen vessel with spring water in it.	50 immoli uno degli uccelli in un vaso di terracotta sull’acqua corrente,
51 Then, taking the cedar wood, the hyssop and the scarlet yarn, together with the living bird, he shall dip them all in the blood of the slain bird and the spring water, and sprinkle the house seven times.	51 prenda il legno di cedro, l’issopo, il panno di colore scarlatto e l’uccello vivo, li immerga nel sangue dell’uccello immolato sull’acqua corrente e asperga la casa sette volte.
52 Thus shall he purify the house with the bird's blood and the spring water, along with the living bird, the cedar wood, the hyssop, and the scarlet yarn.	52 Così purificherà la casa con il sangue dell’uccello, con l’acqua corrente, con l’uccello vivo, con il legno di cedro, con l’issopo e con il panno di colore scarlatto.
53 He shall then let the living bird fly away over the countryside outside the city. When he has thus made atonement for it, the house will be clean.	53 Molli l’uccello vivo fuori della città, nella campagna; compirà così il rito di espiazione per la casa ed essa sarà pura.
54 "This is the law for every kind of human leprosy and scall,	54 Questa è la legge per ogni infezione di lebbra, di tigna,
55 for leprosy of garments and houses,	55 di lebbra delle vesti e delle case,
56 as well as for scabs, pustules and blotches,	56 di tumori, di eczemi e di macchie, per stabilire quando sia impura e quando sia pura. Questa è la legge della lebbra».
57 so that it may be manifest when there is a state of uncleanness and when a state of cleanness. This is the law for leprosy."
