1 Hallelujah! Praise the name of the LORD! Praise, you servants of the LORD,	1 Aleluia. Louvai o nome do Senhor, louvai-o, servos do Senhor,
2 Who stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God!	2 vós que estais no templo do Senhor, nos átrios da casa de nosso Deus.
3 Praise the LORD; the LORD is good! Sing to God's name; it is gracious!	3 Louvai o Senhor, porque ele é bom; cantai à glória de seu nome, porque ele é amável.
4 For the LORD has chosen Jacob, Israel as a treasured possession.	4 Pois o Senhor escolheu Jacó para si, ele tomou Israel por sua herança.
5 I know that the LORD is great, our Lord is greater than all gods.	5 Em verdade, sei que o Senhor é grande, e nosso Deus é maior que todos os deuses.
6 Whatever the LORD wishes he does in heaven and on earth, in the seas and in all the deeps.	6 O Senhor faz tudo o que lhe apraz, no céu e na terra, no mar e nas profundezas das águas.
7 He raises storm clouds from the end of the earth, makes lightning and rain, brings forth wind from the storehouse.	7 Ele chama as nuvens dos confins da terra, faz chover em meio aos relâmpagos, solta o vento de seus reservatórios.
8 He struck down Egypt's firstborn, human and beast alike,	8 Foi ele que feriu os primogênitos do Egito, tanto dos homens como dos brutos.
9 And sent signs and portents against you, Egypt, against Pharaoh and all his servants.	9 Realizou em ti, Egito, sinais e prodígios, contra o faraó de todos os seus servos.
10 The Lord struck down many nations, slew mighty kings--	10 Abateu numerosas nações, e exterminou reis poderosos:
11 Sihon, king of the Amorites, Og, king of Bashan, all the kings of Canaan--	11 Seon, rei dos amorreus; Og, rei de Basã, assim como todos os reis de Canaã.
12 And made their land a heritage, a heritage for Israel his people.	12 E deu a terra deles em herança, como patrimônio para Israel, seu povo.
13 O LORD, your name is forever, your renown, from age to age!	13 Ó Senhor, vosso nome é eterno! Senhor, vossa lembrança passa de geração em geração,
14 For the LORD defends his people, shows mercy to his servants.	14 pois o Senhor é o guarda de seu povo, e tem piedade de seus servos.
15 The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of human hands.	15 Os ídolos dos pagãos não passam de prata e ouro, são obras de mãos humanas.
16 They have mouths but speak not; they have eyes but see not;	16 Têm boca e não podem falar; têm olhos e não podem ver;
17 They have ears but hear not; no breath is in their mouths.	17 têm ouvidos e não podem ouvir. Não há respiração em sua boca.
18 Their makers shall be like them, all who trust in them.	18 Assemelhem-se a eles todos os que os fizeram, e todos os que neles confiam.

21 Blessed from Zion be the LORD, who dwells in Jerusalem! Hallelujah!	21 De Sião seja bendito o Senhor, que habita em Jerusalém.
