1 Hallelujah! Praise the name of the LORD! Praise, you servants of the LORD,	1 ALLELUIA. Laudate nomen Domini, laudate, servi Domini,
2 Who stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God!	2 qui statis in domo Domini, in atriis domus Dei nostri.
3 Praise the LORD; the LORD is good! Sing to God's name; it is gracious!	3 Laudate Dominum, quia bonus Dominus; psallite nomini eius, quoniam suave.
4 For the LORD has chosen Jacob, Israel as a treasured possession.	4 Quoniam Iacob elegit sibi Dominus, Israel in peculium sibi.
5 I know that the LORD is great, our Lord is greater than all gods.	5 Quia ego cognovi quod magnus est Dominus, et Deus noster prae omnibus diis.
6 Whatever the LORD wishes he does in heaven and on earth, in the seas and in all the deeps.	6 Omnia, quaecumque voluit, Dominus fecit in caelo et in terra, in mari et in omnibus abyssis.
7 He raises storm clouds from the end of the earth, makes lightning and rain, brings forth wind from the storehouse.	7 Adducens nubes ab extremo terrae, fulgura in pluviam facit, producit ventos de thesauris suis.
8 He struck down Egypt's firstborn, human and beast alike,	8 Qui percussit primogenita Aegypti ab homine usque ad pecus.
9 And sent signs and portents against you, Egypt, against Pharaoh and all his servants.	9 Misit signa et prodigia in medio tui, Aegypte, in pharaonem et in omnes servos eius.
10 The Lord struck down many nations, slew mighty kings--	10 Qui percussit gentes multas et occidit reges fortes:
11 Sihon, king of the Amorites, Og, king of Bashan, all the kings of Canaan--	11 Sehon regem Amorraeorum et Og regem Basan et omnia regna Chanaan.
12 And made their land a heritage, a heritage for Israel his people.	12 Et dedit terram eorum hereditatem, hereditatem Israel populo suo.
13 O LORD, your name is forever, your renown, from age to age!	13 Domine, nomen tuum in aeternum; Domine, memoriale tuum in generationem et generationem.
14 For the LORD defends his people, shows mercy to his servants.	14 Quia iudicabit Dominus populum suum et servorum suorum miserebitur.
15 The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of human hands.	15 Simulacra gentium argentum et aurum, opera manuum hominum.
16 They have mouths but speak not; they have eyes but see not;	16 Os habent et non loquentur, oculos habent et non videbunt.
17 They have ears but hear not; no breath is in their mouths.	17 Aures habent et non audient; neque enim est spiritus in ore ipsorum.
18 Their makers shall be like them, all who trust in them.	18 Similes illis erunt, qui faciunt ea, et omnes, qui confidunt in eis.
19 House of Israel, bless the LORD! House of Aaron, bless the LORD!	19 Domus Israel, benedicite Domino; domus Aaron, benedicite Domino;
20 House of Levi, bless the LORD! You who fear the LORD, bless the LORD!	20 domus Levi, benedicite Domino; qui timetis Dominum, benedicite Domino.
