1 Hallelujah. I will praise the LORD with all my heart in the assembled congregation of the upright.	1 - Alleluia! Al ritorno di Aggeo e Zaccaria. Beato l'uomo che teme il Signore, che ne' suoi comandamenti si compiace oltremodo.
2 Great are the works of the LORD, to be treasured for all their delights.	2 Potente sulla terra sarà il suo seme: la stirpe de' giusti sarà benedetta.
3 Majestic and glorious is your work, your wise design endures forever.	3 Splendore e ricchezza in casa di lui, e la sua giustizia perdura ne' secoli.
4 You won renown for your wondrous deeds; gracious and merciful is the LORD.	4 Sorge di tra le tenebre una luce per i retti:[Dio è] benigno, misericordioso e giusto.
5 You gave food to those who fear you, mindful of your covenant forever.	5 Felice l'uomo che ha compassione e dà in prestito, [che] dispone le sue cose con giustizia.
6 You showed powerful deeds to your people, giving them the lands of the nations.	6 Perchè non vacillerà in eterno,
7 The works of your hands are right and true, reliable all your decrees,	7 in memoria eterna sarà il giusto. Di triste notizia non avrà paura: pronto è il suo cuore a sperar [fermamente] nel Signore.
8 Established forever and ever, to be observed with loyalty and care.	8 Saldo è il suo cuore, non tremerà, sino a che veda [prostrati] i suoi nemici.
9 You sent deliverance to your people, ratified your covenant forever; holy and awesome is your name.	9 Egli prodiga, dà ai poveri: la sua giustizia perdura ne' secoli. La sua fronte si leva in alto con gloria:
10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; prudent are all who live by it. Your praise endures forever.	10 l'empio vedrà e s'adirerà. Digrignerà i denti e si struggerà: il desiderio degli empi andrà in malora!
