1 And the second lot came forth to Simeon, even for the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families: and their inheritance was within the inheritance of the children of Judah.	1 Le sort attribua la deuxième part à Siméon, aux clans de la tribu de Siméon: leur héritage se trouva au milieu de celui de Juda.
2 And they had in their inheritance Beer-sheba, or Sheba, and Moladah,	2 Ils reçurent en héritage Bersabée, Chéma, Molada,
3 And Hazar-shual, and Balah, and Azem,	3 Hasar-Choual, Bala, Ésem,
4 And Eltolad, and Bethul, and Hormah,	4 Eltolad, Bétoul, Horma,
5 And Ziklag, and Beth-marcaboth, and Hazar-susah,	5 Siklag, Beth-Ha-Markabot, Hasar-Sousa,
6 And Beth-lebaoth, and Sharuhen; thirteen cities and their villages:	6 Beth-Lébaot et Charouhen: 13 villes et leurs villages.
7 Ain, Remmon, and Ether, and Ashan; four cities and their villages:	7 Ayin, Rimmon, Éter, Achan: quatre villes et leurs villages,
8 And all the villages that were round about these cities to Baalath-beer, Ramath of the south. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families.	8 et de plus tous les villages qui les entouraient jusqu’à Baalat-Ber et Rama du Négueb; voilà l’héritage des clans de la tribu de Siméon.
9 Out of the portion of the children of Judah was the inheritance of the children of Simeon: for the part of the children of Judah was too much for them: therefore the children of Simeon had their inheritance within the inheritance of them.	9 On préleva l’héritage de Siméon sur le lot de Juda, car la part de Juda était trop grande pour lui. La tribu de Siméon reçut donc son héritage au milieu de l’héritage de Juda.
10 And the third lot came up for the children of Zebulun according to their families: and the border of their inheritance was unto Sarid:	10 Le sort attribua la troisième part aux clans de Zabulon. Le territoire qu’ils reçurent en héritage s’étendait jusqu’à Sadoud.
11 And their border went up toward the sea, and Maralah, and reached to Dabbasheth, and reached to the river that is before Jokneam;	11 Leur frontière montait à l’ouest vers Maraala, elle passait à côté de Tabechet et du Torrent qui est en face de Yoknéam.
12 And turned from Sarid eastward toward the sunrising unto the border of Chisloth-tabor, and then goeth out to daberath, and goeth up to Japhia,	12 À partir de Sadoud, la frontière tournait vers l’est du côté du soleil levant. Elle atteignait Kislot-Tabor, passait près de Dabérat et montait à Yafia.
13 And from thence passeth on along on the east to Gittah-hepher, to Ittah-kazin, and goeth out to Remmon-methoar to Neah;	13 À partir de là, elle s’étendait vers l’est au levant, vers Gat-Héfer et Itta-Kasin. Elle touchait alors Rimmon et arrivait dans les environs de Néa.
14 And the border compasseth it on the north side to Hannathon: and the outgoings thereof are in the valley of Jiphthah-el:	14 Puis la frontière faisait un détour vers le nord, en direction de Hannaton et arrivait à la vallée de Yifta-El.
15 And Kattath, and Nahallal, and Shimron, and Idalah, and Bethlehem: twelve cities with their villages.	15 Il y avait là Katat, Nahalal, Chimron, Yiréala et Bethléem: 12 villes et leurs villages;
16 This is the inheritance of the children of Zebulun according to their families, these cities with their villages.	16 voilà l’héritage des clans de Zabulon, avec ses villes et ses villages.
17 And the fourth lot came out to Issachar, for the children of Issachar according to their families.	17 Le sort attribua la quatrième part à Issacar, aux clans de la tribu d’Issacar.
18 And their border was toward Jezreel, and Chesulloth, and Shunem,	18 Leur territoire s’étendait vers Yizréel, il comptait Késoulot, Chounem,
19 And Hapharaim, and Shion, and Anaharath,	19 Hafarayim, Chion, Anaharat,
20 And Rabbith, and Kishion, and Abez,	20 Dabérat, Kichyon, Ébès,
21 And Remeth, and En-gannim, and En-haddah, and Beth-pazzez;	21 Rémet, En-Gannim, En-Hadda et Beth-Passés.
22 And the coast reacheth to Tabor, and Shahazimah, and Beth-shemesh; and the outgoings of their border were at Jordan: sixteen cities with their villages.	22 Touchant Thabor, Chahasima et Beth-Chémech, la frontière arrivait au Jourdain: 16 villes et leurs villages.
23 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Issachar according to their families, the cities and their villages.	23 Voilà l’héritage des clans de la tribu d’Issacar avec ses villes et ses villages.
24 And the fifth lot came out for the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families.	24 Le sort attribua la cinquième part aux clans de la tribu d’Asher.
25 And their border was Helkath, and Hali, and Beten, and Achshaph,	25 Leur territoire comptait Helkat, Hali, Béten, Akchaf,
26 And Alammelech, and Amad, and Misheal; and reacheth to Carmel westward, and to Shihor-libnath;	26 Alammélek, Améad et Michéal. À l’ouest il touchait le Carmel et le lit du Libnat.
27 And turneth toward the sunrising to Beth-dagon, and reacheth to Zebulun, and to the valley of Jiphthah-el toward the north side of Beth-emek, and Neiel, and goeth out to Cabul on the left hand,	27 Du côté du soleil levant, il allait jusqu’à Beth-Dagon; il touchait Zabulon, la vallée de Yifta-El, Beth-Ha-Émek et Néïel, au nord de Kaboul.
28 And Hebron, and Rehob, and Hammon, and Kanah, even unto great Zidon;	28 Il comprenait Abdon, Réhob, Hammon et Kana, jusqu’à Sidon-la-Grande. La frontière allait vers Rama et jusqu’à la ville fortifiée de Tyr.
29 And then the coast turneth to Ramah, and to the strong city Tyre; and the coast turneth to Hosah; and the outgoings thereof are at the sea from the coast to Achzib:	29 Ensuite, elle gagnait Hosa et aboutissait à la mer, à la hauteur de Mahaleb et Akzib,
30 Ummah also, and Aphek, and Rehob: twenty and two cities with their villages.	30 avec Akko, Afek et Réhob: 22 villes et leurs villages.
31 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families, these cities with their villages.	31 Voilà l’héritage des clans de la tribu d’Asher, avec leurs villes et leurs villages.
32 The sixth lot came out to the children of Naphtali, even for the children of Naphtali according to their families.	32 Le sort attribua la sixième part à Nephtali, aux clans de la tribu de Nephtali.
33 And their coast was from Heleph, from Allon to Zaanannim, and Adami, Nekeb, and Jabneel, unto Lakum; and the outgoings thereof were at Jordan:	33 Partant de Hélef et du Chêne de Saanannim, leur frontière passait à Adami-Ha-Nékeb et Yabnéel, Lakoum et arrivait au Jourdain.
34 And then the coast turneth westward to Aznoth-tabor, and goeth out from thence to Hukkok, and reacheth to Zebulun on the south side, and reacheth to Asher on the west side, and to Judah upon Jordan toward the sunrising.	34 La frontière passait à l’ouest par Aznot-Tabor, par Houkok et touchait Zabulon au sud et Asher à l’ouest, le Jourdain formait la frontière orientale.
35 And the fenced cities are Ziddim, Zer, and Hammath, Rakkath, and Chinnereth,	35 Les villes étaient Siddim, Ser, Hammat, Rakat, Kinnéret,
36 And Adamah, and Ramah, and Hazor,	36 Adama, Rama, Haçor,
37 And Kedesh, and Edrei, and En-hazor,	37 Qédesh, Édréï, En-Haçor,
38 And Iron, and Migdal-el, Horem, and Beth-anath, and Beth-shemesh; nineteen cities with their villages.	38 Yiréon, Migdal-El, Horem, Beth-Anat et Beth-Chémech: 19 villes et leurs villages.
39 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Naphtali according to their families, the cities and their villages.	39 Voilà l’héritage des clans de la tribu de Nephtali, avec leurs villes et leurs villages.
40 And the seventh lot came out for the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families.	40 Le sort attribua la septième part aux clans de Dan.
41 And the coast of their inheritance was Zorah, and Eshtaol, and Ir-shemesh,	41 Le territoire qu’ils reçurent comprenait Soréa, Echtaol, Ir-Chémech,
42 And Shaalabbin, and Ajalon, and Jethlah,	42 Chaalbim, Ayyalon, Silata,
43 And Elon, and Thimnathah, and Ekron,	43 Élon, Timna, Ékron,
44 And Eltekeh, and Gibbethon, and Baalath,	44 Elteké, Guibéton, Baalat,
45 And Jehud, and Bene-berak, and Gath-rimmon,	45 Azor, Béné-Pérak et Gat-Rimmon;
46 And Me-jarkon, and Rakkon, with the border before Japho.	46 vers la mer, Yérakon avec le territoire qui fait face à Joppé.
47 And the coast of the children of Dan went out too little for them: therefore the children of Dan went up to fight against Leshem, and took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and possessed it, and dwelt therein, and called Leshem, Dan, after the name of Dan their father.	47 Mais la tribu de Dan ne sut pas s’emparer de son territoire. C’est pourquoi ses clans montèrent combattre Léchem; ils s’en emparèrent et la passèrent au fil de l’épée. Après la prise de Léchem, ils s’y installèrent et lui donnèrent le nom de Dan, celui de leur ancêtre.
48 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families, these cities with their villages.	48 Voilà l’héritage des clans de la tribu de Dan, avec leurs villes et leurs villages.
49 When they had made an end of dividing the land for inheritance by their coasts, the children of Israel gave an inheritance to Joshua the son of Nun among them:	49 Le partage du pays avec ses frontières était terminé. Alors les Israélites donnèrent à Josué, fils de Noun, un héritage au milieu d’eux.
50 According to the word of the LORD they gave him the city which he asked, even Timnath-serah in mount Ephraim: and he built the city, and dwelt therein.	50 Selon l’ordre de Yahvé, ils lui donnèrent la ville qu’il avait demandée: Timnat-Séra, dans la montagne d’Éphraïm. Il reconstruisit la ville et s’y installa.
51 These are the inheritances which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel, divided for an inheritance by lot in Shiloh before the LORD, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. So they made an end of dividing the country.	51 Ce sont là les parts d’héritage que le prêtre Éléazar, Josué fils de Noun et les chefs de clans, répartirent par le sort entre les tribus d’Israël. C’était à Silo, en présence de Yahvé à l’entrée de la Tente du Rendez-Vous. Ainsi s’acheva le partage du pays.
