1 Now these are the kings of the land, which the children of Israel smote, and possessed their land on the other side Jordan toward the rising of the sun, from the river Arnon unto mount Hermon, and all the plain on the east:	1 Questi sono i re che i figli d'Israele batterono e di cui possedettero la terra di là dal Giordano, a levante, dal torrente Arnon fino al monte Ermon, e tutta la contrada orientale che guarda il deserto.
2 Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon, and ruled from Aroer, which is upon the bank of the river Arnon, and from the middle of the river, and from half Gilead, even unto the river Jabbok, which is the border of the children of Ammon;	2 Sehon re degli Amorrei, che abitò in Esebon, e regnò da Aroer, che è sulla, riva del torrente Arnon, e dal mezzo della valle sulla metà di Galaad, sino al torrente Iaboc, che è il confine dei figli d'Ammon,
3 And from the plain to the sea of Chinneroth on the east, and unto the sea of the plain, even the salt sea on the east, the way to Beth-jeshimoth; and from the south, under Ashdoth-pisgah:	3 e dal deserto al mare Cenerot, a levante, e fino al mare del deserto, che è il mar salato, a oriente, lungo la strada che mena a Betsimot; e dal lato meridionale che è al di sotto di Asedot fino al Fasga.

7 And these are the kings of the country which Joshua and the children of Israel smote on this side Jordan on the west, from Baal-gad in the valley of Lebanon even unto the mount Halak, that goeth up to Seir; which Joshua gave unto the tribes of Israel for a possession according to their divisions;	7 Questi sono i re del paese, che Giosuè e i figli d'Israele batterono di là dal Giordano, ad occidente, da Baalgad, nella campagna del Libano, sino al monte di cui una parte sale verso Seir. E Giosuè ne diede il possesso alle tribù d'Israele, a ciascuna la sua parte,
8 In the mountains, and in the valleys, and in the plains, and in the springs, and in the wilderness, and in the south country; the Hittites, the Amorites, and the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites:	8 tanto nelle montagne che nei piani e nelle campagne. In Asedot, nel deserto e a mezzodì v'eran l'Eteo, l'Amorreo, il Cananeo, il Ferezeo, l'Eveo, il Gebuseo.
