1 Now these are the kings of the land, which the children of Israel smote, and possessed their land on the other side Jordan toward the rising of the sun, from the river Arnon unto mount Hermon, and all the plain on the east:	1 - Questi sono i re che furono battuti dai figli d'Israele e dei quali essi possedettero il territorio al di là del Giordano, verso oriente, dal torrente Arnon fino al monte Ermon e a tutta la regione orientale che guarda il deserto:
2 Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon, and ruled from Aroer, which is upon the bank of the river Arnon, and from the middle of the river, and from half Gilead, even unto the river Jabbok, which is the border of the children of Ammon;	2 Seon re degli Amorrei, che abitò in Esebon e regnò da Aroer, situata in riva al torrente Arnon ed a metà della valle fino a mezzo Galaad cioè fino al torrente Jaboc, confine dei figli di Ammon,
3 And from the plain to the sea of Chinneroth on the east, and unto the sea of the plain, even the salt sea on the east, the way to Beth-jeshimoth; and from the south, under Ashdoth-pisgah:	3 e dal deserto fino al mare di Cenerot verso levante e fino al mare del deserto, che è il mare salato, verso oriente, lungo la via che conduce a Betsimot; e dal lato meridionale che è al di sotto di Asedot fino a Fasga.
4 And the coast of Og king of Bashan, which was of the remnant of the giants, that dwelt at Ashtaroth and at Edrei,	4 I confini di Og re di Basan, ultimo dei Rafaim, che abitò in Astarot e in Edrai e dominò sul monte Ermon e in Saleca e in tutto il Basan fino ai confini
5 And reigned in mount Hermon, and in Salcah, and in all Bashan, unto the border of the Geshurites and the Maachathites, and half Gilead, the border of Sihon king of Heshbon.	5 di Gessuri e di Macati e della metà di Galaad fino ai confini di Seon re di Esebon.
6 Them did Moses the servant of the LORD and the children of Israel smite: and Moses the servant of the LORD gave it for a possession unto the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh.	6 Mosè servo del Signore e i figli d'Israele li sconfissero e Mosè diede il loro territorio in possesso ai Rubeniti, ai Gaditi e ad una metà della tribù di Manasse.
7 And these are the kings of the country which Joshua and the children of Israel smote on this side Jordan on the west, from Baal-gad in the valley of Lebanon even unto the mount Halak, that goeth up to Seir; which Joshua gave unto the tribes of Israel for a possession according to their divisions;	7 Questi sono i re del paese che furono battuti da Giosuè e dai figli d'Israele al di qua del Giordano verso occidente, a cominciare da Baalgad nella valle del Libano fino al monte di cui una parte sale verso Seir. Giosuè diede questo territorio in possesso alle tribù di Israele, assegnando a ciascuna la sua porzione,
8 In the mountains, and in the valleys, and in the plains, and in the springs, and in the wilderness, and in the south country; the Hittites, the Amorites, and the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites:	8 sia tra le montagne che fra le pianure, sia fra le valli che sul pendio delle colline, nel deserto e verso mezzogiorno. Colà vi fu l'Eteo, l'Amorreo, il Cananeo, il Ferezeo, l'Eveo e il Jebuseo.
9 The king of Jericho, one; the king of Ai, which is beside Bethel, one;	9 Un re di Gerico, un re di Ai posto a fianco di Betel,
10 The king of Jerusalem, one; the king of Hebron, one;	10 un re di Gerusalemme, un re di Ebron,
11 The king of Jarmuth, one; the king of Lachish, one;	11 un re di Jerimot, un re di Lachis,
12 The king of Eglon, one; the king of Gezer, one;	12 un re di Eglon, un re di Gazer,
