1 Deliver me, O LORD, from the evil man: preserve me from the violent man;	1 Del maestro de coro. Salmo. De David.
2 Which imagine mischiefs in their heart; continually are they gathered together for war.	2 Líbrame, Yahveh, del hombre malo, del hombre violento guárdame,
3 They have sharpened their tongues like a serpent; adders' poison is under their lips. Selah.	3 los que en su corazón maquinan males, y peleas albergan todo el día,
4 Keep me, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from the violent man; who have purposed to overthrow my goings.	4 aguzan su lengua igual que una serpiente, veneno de víbora hay bajo sus labios. Pausa
5 The proud have hid a snare for me, and cords; they have spread a net by the wayside; they have set gins for me. Selah.	5 Presérvame, Yahveh, de las manos del impío, del hombre violento guárdame, los que proyectan trastornar mis pasos,
6 I said unto the LORD, Thou art my God: hear the voice of my supplications, O LORD.	6 los insolentes que me han ocultado cepo y lazos, y tienden una red bajo mis pies, y al borde del sendero me han emplazado trampas. Pausa.
7 O GOD the Lord, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.	7 Yo he dicho a Yahveh: Tú eres mi Dios, escucha, Yahveh, la voz de mis súplicas.
8 Grant not, O LORD, the desires of the wicked: further not his wicked device; lest they exalt themselves. Selah.	8 Oh Yahveh, Señor mío, fuerza de mi salvación, tú cubres mi cabeza el día del combate.
9 As for the head of those that compass me about, let the mischief of their own lips cover them.	9 No otorgues, Yahveh, al impío su deseo, no dejes que su plan se realice. Los que me asedian no alcen sobre mí
10 Let burning coals fall upon them: let them be cast into the fire; into deep pits, that they rise not up again.	10 su cabeza, Pausa ahóguelos la malicia de sus labios;
11 Let not an evil speaker be established in the earth: evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow him.	11 llueva sobre ellos carbones encendidos, en el abismo hundidos, no se levanten más;
12 I know that the LORD will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and the right of the poor.	12 no arraigue más en la tierra el deslenguado. al violento lo atrape de golpe la desgracia.
13 Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto thy name: the upright shall dwell in thy presence.	13 Sé que Yahveh al humilde hará justicia, y llevará el juicio de los pobres.
	14 Sí, los justos darán gracias a tu nombre, los rectos morarán en tu presencia.
