¹ A psalm for David, for a remembrance of the sabbath.	¹ Salmo de David. En conmemoración.
² Rebuke me not, O Lord, in thy indignation; nor chastise me in thy wrath.	² Señor, no me corrijas con ira, \| no me castigues con cólera.
³ For thy arrows are fastened in me : and thy hand hath been strong upon me.	³ Tus flechas se me han clavado, \| tu mano pesa sobre mí.
⁴ There is no health in my flesh, because of thy wrath : there is no peace for my bones, because of my sins.	⁴ No hay parte ilesa en mi carne \| a causa de tu furor; \| no tienen descanso mis huesos \| a causa de mis pecados.
⁵ For my iniquities are gone over my head : and as a heavy burden are become heavy upon me.	⁵ Mis culpas sobrepasan mi cabeza, \| son un peso superior a mis fuerzas.
⁶ My sores are putrified and corrupted, because of my foolishness.	⁶ Mis llagas están podridas y supuran \| por causa de mi insensatez;
⁷ I am become miserable, and am bowed down even to the end : I walked sorrowful all the day long.	⁷ voy encorvado y encogido, \| todo el día camino sombrío.
⁸ For my loins are filled with illusions; and there is no health in my flesh.	⁸ Tengo las espaldas ardiendo, \| no hay parte ilesa en mi carne;
⁹ I am afflicted and humbled exceedingly : I roared with the groaning of my heart.	⁹ estoy agotado, deshecho del todo; \| rujo con más fuerza que un león.
¹⁰ Lord, all my desire is before thee, and my groaning is not hidden from thee.	¹⁰ Señor mío, todas mis ansias están en tu presencia, \| no se te ocultan mis gemidos;
¹¹ My heart is troubled, my strength hath left me, and the light of my eyes itself is not with me.	¹¹ siento palpitar mi corazón, me abandonan las fuerzas, \| y me falta hasta la luz de los ojos.
¹² My friends and my neighbours have drawn near, and stood against me. And they that were near me stood afar off :	¹² Mis amigos y compañeros \| se alejan de mí, \| mis parientes se quedan a distancia;
¹³ And they that sought my soul used violence. And they that sought evils to me spoke vain things, and studied deceits all the day long.	¹³ me tienden lazos los que atentan contra mí, \| los que desean mi daño me amenazan de muerte, \| todo el día murmuran traiciones.
¹⁴ But I, as a deaf man, heard not : and as a dumb man not opening his mouth.	¹⁴ Pero yo, como un sordo, no oigo; \| como un mudo, no abro la boca;
¹⁵ And I became as a man that heareth not : and that hath no reproofs in his mouth.	¹⁵ soy como uno que no oye \| y no puede replicar.
¹⁶ For in thee, O Lord, have I hoped : thou wilt hear me, O Lord my God.	¹⁶ En ti, Señor, espero, \| y tú me escucharás, Señor, Dios mío;
¹⁷ For I said: Lest at any time my enemies rejoice over me : and whilst my feet are moved, they speak great things against me.	¹⁷ esto pido: que no se alegren por mi causa; \| que, cuando resbale mi pie, \| no canten triunfo.
¹⁸ For I am ready for scourges : and my sorrow is continually before me.	¹⁸ Porque yo estoy a punto de caer, \| y mi pena no se aparta de mí:
¹⁹ For I will declare my inequity : and I will think for my sin.	¹⁹ yo confieso mi culpa, \| me aflige mi pecado.
²⁰ But my enemies live, and are stronger that I : and they hate me wrongfully are multiplied.	²⁰ Mis enemigos están vivos y son poderosos, \| son muchos los que me aborrecen sin razón,
²¹ They that render evil for good, have detracted me, because I followed goodness.	²¹ los que me pagan males por bienes, \| los que me atacan cuando procuro el bien.
²² Forsake me not, O Lord my God : do not thou depart from me.	²² No me abandones, Señor; \| Dios mío, no te quedes lejos;
²³ Attend unto my help, O Lord, the God of my salvation.	²³ ven aprisa a socorrerme, \| Señor mío, mi salvación.
