Psalms 127

1 When the lord brought back the captivity of Sion, we became like men comforted.	1 שיר המעלות לשלמה אם יהוה לא יבנה בית שוא עמלו בוניו בו אם יהוה לא ישמר עיר שוא שקד שומר
2 Then was our mouth filled with gladness; and our tongue with joy. Then shall they say among the Gentiles: The Lord hath done great things for them.	2 שוא לכם משכימי קום מאחרי שבת אכלי לחם העצבים כן יתן לידידו שנא
3 The Lord hath done great things for us: we are become joyful.	3 הנה נחלת יהוה בנים שכר פרי הבטן
4 Turn again our captivity, O Lord, as a stream in the south.	4 כחצים ביד גבור כן בני הנעורים
5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.	5 אשרי הגבר אשר מלא את אשפתו מהם לא יבשו כי ידברו את אויבים בשער
6 Going they went and wept, casting their seeds.
7 But coming they shall come with joyfulness, carrying their sheaves.
