Psalms 127

1 When the lord brought back the captivity of Sion, we became like men comforted.	1 Canción de las subidas. De Salomón. Si Yahveh no construye la casa, en vano se afanan los constructores; si Yahveh no guarda la ciudad, en vano vigila la guardia.
2 Then was our mouth filled with gladness; and our tongue with joy. Then shall they say among the Gentiles: The Lord hath done great things for them.	2 En vano madrugáis a levantaros, el descanso retrasais, los que coméis pan de fatigas, cuando él colma a su amado mientras duerme.
3 The Lord hath done great things for us: we are become joyful.	3 La herencia de Yahveh son los hijos, recompensa el fruto de las entrañas;
4 Turn again our captivity, O Lord, as a stream in the south.	4 como flechas en la mano del héroe, así los hijos de la juventud.
5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.	5 Dichoso el hombre que ha llenado de ellas su aljaba; no quedarán confusos cuando tengan pleito con sus enemigos en la puerta.
6 Going they went and wept, casting their seeds.
7 But coming they shall come with joyfulness, carrying their sheaves.
