1 Unto the end. For those who will be changed. To the sons of Korah, toward understanding. A Canticle for the Beloved.	1 Per quelli, che saranno cangiati. Ai figliuoli di Core, Salmo di intelligenza; cantico per lo diletto. IL mio cuore ha gettato una buona parola: al re io recito le opere mie. La mia lingua è la penna di uno scrittore, che scrive velocemente.
2 My heart has uttered a good word. I speak of my works to the king. My tongue is like the pen of a scribe who writes quickly.	2 Specioso in bellezza sopra i figliuoli degli uomini, la grazia è diffusa sulle tue labbra; per questo ti benedisse Dio in eterno.
3 You are a brilliant form before the sons of men. Grace has been poured freely into your lips. Because of this, God has blessed you in eternity.	3 Cingi a' tuoi fianchi la tua spada, o potentissimo,
4 Fasten your sword to your thigh, O most powerful one.	4 Colla tua speciosità, e bellezza tendi l'arco, avanzati felicemente, e regna, Mediante la verità, e la mansuetudine, e la giustizia: e a cose mirabili ti condurrà la tua destra.
5 With your splendor and your excellence extended, proceed prosperously, and reign for the sake of truth and meekness and justice, and so will your right hand lead you wondrously.	5 Le tue penetranti saette passeranno i cuori de' nemici del re, i popoli cadranno a' tuoi piedi.
6 Your arrows are sharp; the people will fall under you, with the hearts of the enemies of the king.	6 Il tuo trono, o Dio, per tutti i secoli: lo scettro del tuo regno, scettro di equità.
7 Your throne, O God, is forever and ever. The scepter of your kingdom is a scepter of true aim.	7 Hai amato la giustizia, ed hai odiato l'iniquità; per questo ti unse, o Dio, il tuo Dio di un unguento di letizia sopra li tuoi consorti.
8 You have loved justice and hated iniquity. Because of this, God, your God, has anointed you, before your co-heirs, with the oil of gladness.	8 Spirano mirra, e lagrima, e cassia le tue vestimenta tratte dalle case d'avorio;
9 Myrrh and balsam and cinnamon perfume your garments, from the houses of ivory. From these, they have delighted you:	9 Onde te rallegrarono le figlie dei regi rendendoti onore. Alla tua destra si sta la regina in manto d'oro, con ogni varietà di ornamenti.
10 the daughters of kings in your honor. The queen assisted at your right hand, in clothing of gold, encircled with diversity.	10 Ascolta, o figlia, e considera, e porgi le tue orecchie, e scordati del tuo popolo, e della casa di tuo padre.
11 Listen, daughter, and see, and incline your ear. And forget your people and your father’s house.	11 E il re amerà la tua bellezza; perché egli è il Signore Dio tuo, e a lui renderanno adorazioni.
12 And the king will desire your beauty. For he is the Lord your God, and they will adore him.	12 E le figlie di Tiro porteranno dei doni: porgeran suppliche a te tutti i ricchi del popolo.
13 And the daughters of Tyre will entreat your countenance with gifts: all the rich men of the people.	13 Tutta la gloria della figlia del re è interiore: ella è vestita di un abito a varj colori, con frange d'oro.
14 All the glory of the daughter of its king is inside, in golden fringes,	14 Saranno presentate al re dopo di lei altre vergini: le compagne di lei saranno condotte a te.
15 clothed all around with diversities. After her, virgins will be led to the king. Her neighbors will be brought to you.	15 Saranno condotte con allegrezza, e con festa, saran menate al tempio del re.
16 They will be brought with gladness and exultation. They will be led into the temple of the king.	16 In luogo de' padri tuoi sono nati a te de' figliuoli; tu li costituirai principi sopra tutta la terra.
17 For your fathers, sons have been born to you. You will establish them as leaders over all the earth.	17 Eglino si ricorderan del tuo nome per tutte le generazioni. Per questo daranno a te laude i popoli in eterno, e pe' secoli de' secoli.
18 They will remember your name always, for generation after generation. Because of this, people will confess to you in eternity, even forever and ever.
