1 ויצא הגורל השני לשמעון למטה בני שמעון למשפחותם ויהי נחלתם בתוך נחלת בני יהודה	1 The second lot to come out was for Simeon, for the tribe of the sons of Simeon, by clans; their heritagewas within the heritage of the sons of Judah.
2 ויהי להם בנחלתם באר שבע ושבע ומולדה	2 As heritage, they received:
3 וחצר שועל ובלה ועצם	3 Beersheba, Shema, Moladah,
4 ואלתולד ובתול וחרמה	4 Hazar-Shual, Balah, Ezem, Eltolad, Bethul, Hormah,
5 וצקלג ובית המרכבות וחצר סוסה	5 Ziklag, Beth-ha-Marcaboth, Hazar-Susa,
6 ובית לבאות ושרוחן ערים שלש עשרה וחצריהן	6 Beth-Lebaoth and Sharuhen: thirteen towns and their vil ages.
7 עין רמון ועתר ועשן ערים ארבע וחצריהן	7 Ain, Rimmon, Ether and Ashan: four towns and their villages,
8 וכל החצרים אשר סביבות הערים האלה עד בעלת באר ראמת נגב זאת נחלת מטה בני שמעון למשפחתם	8 with al the vil ages situated near these towns as far as Baalath-Beer and Ramah of the Negeb. Suchwas the heritage of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, by clans.
9 מחבל בני יהודה נחלת בני שמעון כי היה חלק בני יהודה רב מהם וינחלו בני שמעון בתוך נחלתם	9 The heritage of the sons of Simeon was taken out of the portion of the sons of Judah, because theshare of the sons of Judah was too large for them; hence, the sons of Simeon received their heritage within theheritage of the sons of Judah.
10 ויעל הגורל השלישי לבני זבולן למשפחתם ויהי גבול נחלתם עד שריד	10 The third lot fel to the sons of Zebulun, by clans; the territory of their heritage stretched as far asSadud;
11 ועלה גבולם לימה ומרעלה ופגע בדבשת ופגע אל הנחל אשר על פני יקנעם	11 their frontier climbed westwards to Maraalah, touching Dabbesheth and the torrent facing Jokneam.
12 ושב משריד קדמה מזרח השמש על גבול כסלת תבר ויצא אל הדברת ועלה יפיע	12 From Sadud, the frontier turned east, towards the rising sun, as far as the frontier of Chisloth-Tabor; itcame out at Dobrath and went up to Japhia.
13 ומשם עבר קדמה מזרחה גתה חפר עתה קצין ויצא רמון המתאר הנעה	13 Thence, it went east, towards the sunrise, to Gath-Hepher and Ittah-Kazin, came out at Rimmon andturned towards Neah.
14 ונסב אתו הגבול מצפון חנתן והיו תצאתיו גי יפתח אל	14 The northern frontier turned towards Hannathon and came to an end in the Val ey of Iphtah-El;
15 וקטת ונהלל ושמרון וידאלה ובית לחם ערים שתים עשרה וחצריהן	15 with Kattath, Nahalal, Shimron, Iralah and Bethlehem: twelve towns with their villages.
16 זאת נחלת בני זבולן למשפחותם הערים האלה וחצריהן	16 Such was the heritage of the sons of Zebulun, by clans: these towns with their vil ages.
17 ליששכר יצא הגורל הרביעי לבני יששכר למשפחותם	17 The fourth lot came out for Issachar, for the sons of Issachar, by clans.
18 ויהי גבולם יזרעאלה והכסולת ושונם	18 Their territory stretched towards Jezreel and included Chesul oth, Shunem,
19 וחפרים ושיאן ואנחרת	19 Hapharaim, Shion, Anaharath,
20 והרבית וקשיון ואבץ	20 Dobrath, Kishion, Ebez,
21 ורמת ועין גנים ועין חדה ובית פצץ	21 Remeth, En-Gannim, En-Haddah and Beth-Pazzez.
22 ופגע הגבול בתבור ושחצומה ובית שמש והיו תצאות גבולם הירדן ערים שש עשרה וחצריהן	22 Their frontier touched Tabor, Shahazimah and Beth-Shemesh, and the frontier came to an end at theJordan: sixteen towns with their vil ages.
23 זאת נחלת מטה בני יששכר למשפחתם הערים וחצריהן	23 Such was the heritage of the tribe of the sons of Issachar, by clans: the towns and their vil ages.
24 ויצא הגורל החמישי למטה בני אשר למשפחותם	24 The fifth lot came out for the tribe of the sons of Asher, by clans.
25 ויהי גבולם חלקת וחלי ובטן ואכשף	25 Their territory included Helkath, Hali, Beten, Achshaph,
26 ואלמלך ועמעד ומשאל ופגע בכרמל הימה ובשיחור לבנת	26 Alammelech, Amad and Mishal.
27 ושב מזרח השמש בית דגן ופגע בזבלון ובגי יפתח אל צפונה בית העמק ונעיאל ויצא אל כבול משמאל	27 On the west, it touched Carmel and the course of the Libnath. On the side of the rising sun, it went asfar as Beth-Dagon, touched Zebulun, the Val ey of Iphtah-El on the north side, Beth-ha-Emek and Neiel, comingout with Cabul on the left,
28 ועברן ורחב וחמון וקנה עד צידון רבה	28 with Abdon, Rehob, Hammon and Kanah as far as Sidon the Great. The frontier then turned towardsRamah, as far as the fortress-town of Tyre;
29 ושב הגבול הרמה ועד עיר מבצר צר ושב הגבול חסה ויהיו תצאתיו הימה מחבל אכזיבה	29 the frontier then went to Hosah and reached as far as the sea at Mahalab and Achzib,
30 ועמה ואפק ורחב ערים עשרים ושתים וחצריהן	30 with Acco, Aphek and Rehob: twenty-two towns with their vil ages.
31 זאת נחלת מטה בני אשר למשפחתם הערים האלה וחצריהן	31 Such was the heritage of the tribe of the sons of Asher, by clans; these towns and their vil ages.
32 לבני נפתלי יצא הגורל הששי לבני נפתלי למשפחתם	32 To the sons of Naphtali fel the sixth portion, to the sons of Naphtali, by clans.
33 ויהי גבולם מחלף מאלון בצעננים ואדמי הנקב ויבנאל עד לקום ויהי תצאתיו הירדן	33 Their frontier went from Heleph and the Oak of Zanaannim, with Adami-ha-Negeb and Jabneel, as faras Lakkum, and ended at the Jordan.
34 ושב הגבול ימה אזנות תבור ויצא משם חוקקה ופגע בזבלון מנגב ובאשר פגע מים וביהודה הירדן מזרח השמש	34 The westward boundary ran to Aznoth-Tabor and thence came out at Hukkok, marching with Zebulunin the south, Asher in the west and the Jordan in the east.
35 וערי מבצר הצדים צר וחמת רקת וכנרת	35 The fortified towns were Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Chinnereth,
36 ואדמה והרמה וחצור	36 Adamah, Ramah, Hazor,
37 וקדש ואדרעי ועין חצור	37 Kedesh, Edrei, En-Hazor,
38 ויראון ומגדל אל חרם ובית ענת ובית שמש ערים תשע עשרה וחצריהן	38 Jiron, Migdal-El, Horem, Beth-Anath and Beth-Shemesh: nineteen towns and their vil ages.
39 זאת נחלת מטה בני נפתלי למשפחתם הערים וחצריהן	39 Such was the heritage of the sons of Naphtali, by clans: the towns and their vil ages.
40 למטה בני דן למשפחתם יצא הגורל השביעי	40 To the tribe of the sons of Dan, by clans, fel the seventh portion.
41 ויהי גבול נחלתם צרעה ואשתאול ועיר שמש	41 The territory of their heritage comprised: Zorah, Eshtaol, Ir-Shemesh,
42 ושעלבין ואילון ויתלה	42 Shaalbim, Aijalon, Silatha,
43 ואילון ותמנתה ועקרון	43 Elon, Timnah, Ekron,
44 ואלתקה וגבתון ובעלת	44 Eltekeh, Gibbethon,
45 ויהד ובני ברק וגת רמון	45 Baalath, Azor, Bene-Berak and Gath-Rimmon;
46 ומי הירקון והרקון עם הגבול מול יפו	46 and, by the sea, Jerakon with the territory facing Jaffa.
47 ויצא גבול בני דן מהם ויעלו בני דן וילחמו עם לשם וילכדו אותה ויכו אותה לפי חרב וירשו אותה וישבו בה ויקראו ללשם דן כשם דן אביהם	47 The territory of the sons of Dan eluded them, however, and the sons of Dan consequently went upand attacked Leshem, captured it and put it to the sword. Having gained possession of it, they settled there andcal ed Leshem, Dan, after Dan their ancestor.
48 זאת נחלת מטה בני דן למשפחתם הערים האלה וחצריהן	48 Such was the heritage of the tribe of the sons of Dan, by clans: these towns and their vil ages.
49 ויכלו לנחל את הארץ לגבולתיה ויתנו בני ישראל נחלה ליהושע בן נון בתוכם	49 Having finished dividing the country, frontier by frontier, the Israelites gave Joshua son of Nun aheritage among themselves;
50 על פי יהוה נתנו לו את העיר אשר שאל את תמנת סרח בהר אפרים ויבנה את העיר וישב בה	50 at Yahweh's command, they gave him the town which he had asked for, Timnath-Serah in thehighlands of Ephraim; he rebuilt the town and settled there.
51 אלה הנחלת אשר נחלו אלעזר הכהן ויהושע בן נון וראשי האבות למטות בני ישראל בגורל בשלה לפני יהוה פתח אהל מועד ויכלו מחלק את הארץ	51 Such are the heritages which the priest Eleazar, Joshua son of Nun, and the heads of each familyapportioned by lot between the tribes of Israel at Shiloh, in Yahweh's presence, at the door of the Tent ofMeeting; and thus the apportioning of the country was completed.
