Amos 5

EINHEITSUBERSETZUNG BIBEL	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 Hört dieses Wort, ihr vom Haus Israel, hört die Totenklage, die ich über euch anstimme:	1 Hear ye this word which I take up against you, even a lamentation, O house of Israel.
2 Gefallen ist sie und steht nicht mehr auf, die Jungfrau Israel; sie liegt zerschmettert am Boden in ihrem Land und niemand richtet sie auf.	2 The virgin of Israel is fallen; she shall no more rise: she is forsaken upon her land; there is none to raise her up.
3 Denn so spricht Gott, der Herr: In die Stadt, aus der tausend Männer auszogen, kehren nur hundert zurück, und wo hundert auszogen, kehren nur zehn zurück.	3 For thus saith the Lord GOD; The city that went out by a thousand shall leave an hundred, and that which went forth by an hundred shall leave ten, to the house of Israel.
4 Ja, so spricht der Herr zum Haus Israel: Sucht mich, dann werdet ihr leben.	4 For thus saith the LORD unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live:
5 Doch sucht nicht Bet-El auf, geht nicht nach Gilgal, zieht nicht nach Beerscheba! Denn Gilgal droht die Verbannung und Bet-El der Untergang.	5 But seek not Bethel, nor enter into Gilgal, and pass not to Beer-sheba: for Gilgal shall surely go into captivity, and Bethel shall come to nought.
6 Sucht den Herrn, dann werdet ihr leben. Sonst dringt er in das Haus Josef ein wie ein Feuer, das frisst, und niemand löscht Bet-Els Brand.	6 Seek the LORD, and ye shall live; lest he break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and devour it, and there be none to quench it in Bethel.
7 Weh denen, die das Recht in bitteren Wermut verwandeln und die Gerechtigkeit zu Boden schlagen.	7 Ye who turn judgment to wormwood, and leave off righteousness in the earth,
8 Er hat das Siebengestirn und den Orion erschaffen; er verwandelt die Finsternis in den hellen Morgen, er verdunkelt den Tag zur Nacht, er ruft das Wasser des Meeres und gießt es aus über die Erde - Jahwe ist sein Name.	8 Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name:
9 Plötzlich wird er den Starken vernichten und über die befestigten Städte bricht die Vernichtung herein.	9 That strengtheneth the spoiled against the strong, so that the spoiled shall come against the fortress.
10 Bei Gericht hassen sie den, der zur Gerechtigkeit mahnt, und wer Wahres redet, den verabscheuen sie.	10 They hate him that rebuketh in the gate, and they abhor him that speaketh uprightly.
11 Weil ihr von den Hilflosen Pachtgeld annehmt und ihr Getreide mit Steuern belegt, darum baut ihr Häuser aus behauenen Steinen - und wohnt nicht darin, legt ihr euch prächtige Weinberge an - und werdet den Wein nicht trinken.	11 Forasmuch therefore as your treading is upon the poor, and ye take from him burdens of wheat: ye have built houses of hewn stone, but ye shall not dwell in them; ye have planted pleasant vineyards, but ye shall not drink wine of them.
12 Denn ich kenne eure vielen Vergehen und eure zahlreichen Sünden. Ihr bringt den Unschuldigen in Not, ihr lasst euch bestechen und weist den Armen ab bei Gericht.	12 For I know your manifold transgressions and your mighty sins: they afflict the just, they take a bribe, and they turn aside the poor in the gate from their right.
13 Darum schweigt in dieser Zeit, wer klug ist; denn es ist eine böse Zeit.	13 Therefore the prudent shall keep silence in that time; for it is an evil time.
14 Sucht das Gute, nicht das Böse; dann werdet ihr leben und dann wird, wie ihr sagt, der Herr, der Gott der Heere, bei euch sein.	14 Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live: and so the LORD, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken.
15 Hasst das Böse, liebt das Gute und bringt bei Gericht das Recht zur Geltung! Vielleicht ist der Herr, der Gott der Heere, dem Rest Josefs dann gnädig.	15 Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the LORD God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph.
16 Darum - so spricht der Herr, der Gott der Heere: Auf allen Plätzen herrscht Trauer und auf allen Gassen schreit man: Wehe! Wehe! Den Ackerknecht holt man zur Totenklage, den Kenner der Totenlieder ruft man zum Klagen.	16 Therefore the LORD, the God of hosts, the Lord, saith thus; Wailing shall be in all streets; and they shall say in all the highways, Alas! alas! and they shall call the husbandman to mourning, and such as are skilful of lamentation to wailing.
17 In allen Weinbergen herrscht Trauer; denn ich schreite durch deine Mitte, spricht der Herr.	17 And in all vineyards shall be wailing: for I will pass through thee, saith the LORD.
18 Weh denen, die den Tag des Herrn herbeisehnen. Was nützt euch denn der Tag des Herrn? Finsternis ist er, nicht Licht.	18 Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.
19 Es ist, wie wenn jemand einem Löwen entflieht und ihn dann ein Bär überfällt; kommt er nach Hause und stützt sich mit der Hand auf die Mauer, dann beißt ihn eine Schlange.	19 As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him.
20 Ja, Finsternis ist der Tag des Herrn, nicht Licht, ohne Helligkeit ist er und dunkel.	20 Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?
21 Ich hasse eure Feste, ich verabscheue sie und kann eure Feiern nicht riechen.	21 I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies.
22 Wenn ihr mir Brandopfer darbringt, ich habe kein Gefallen an euren Gaben und eure fetten Heilsopfer will ich nicht sehen.	22 Though ye offer me burnt offerings and your meat offerings, I will not accept them: neither will I regard the peace offerings of your fat beasts.
23 Weg mit dem Lärm deiner Lieder! Dein Harfenspiel will ich nicht hören,	23 Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols.
24 sondern das Recht ströme wie Wasser, die Gerechtigkeit wie ein nie versiegender Bach.	24 But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream.
25 Habt ihr mir etwa Schlachtopfer und Gaben dargebracht während der vierzig Jahre in der Wüste, ihr vom Haus Israel?	25 Have ye offered unto me sacrifices and offerings in the wilderness forty years, O house of Israel?
26 Ihr werdet (den Gott) Sakkut als euren König vor euch hertragen müssen und den Kewan, euren Sterngott, eure Götter, die ihr euch selber gemacht habt.	26 But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves.
27 Ich will euch in die Gebiete jenseits von Damaskus verbannen, spricht der Herr; Gott der Heere ist sein Name.	27 Therefore will I cause you to go into captivity beyond Damascus, saith the LORD, whose name is The God of hosts.
