Livro dos Salmos 47

SAGRADA BIBLIA	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 Ao mestre de canto. Salmo dos filhos de Coré. Povos, aplaudi com as mãos, aclamai a Deus com vozes alegres,	1 O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.
2 porque o Senhor é o Altíssimo, o temível, o grande Rei do universo.	2 For the LORD most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.
3 Ele submeteu a nós as nações, colocou os povos sob nossos pés,	3 He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet.
4 escolheu uma terra para nossa herança, a glória de Jacó, seu amado.	4 He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.
5 Subiu Deus por entre aclamações, o Senhor, ao som das trombetas.	5 God is gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.
6 Cantai à glória de Deus, cantai; cantai à glória de nosso rei, cantai.	6 Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.
7 Porque Deus é o rei do universo; entoai-lhe, pois, um hino!	7 For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.
8 Deus reina sobre as nações, Deus está em seu trono sagrado.	8 God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.
9 Reuniram-se os príncipes dos povos ao povo do Deus de Abraão, pois a Deus pertencem os grandes da terra, a ele, o soberanamente grande.	9 The princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong unto God: he is greatly exalted.
