7 Por mi parte, yo he experimentado una gran alegría y me he sentido reconfortado por tu amor, viendo como tú, querido hermano aliviabas las necesidades de los santos	7 I have received much joy and encouragement by your love; you have set the hearts of God's holypeople at rest.
8 Por eso, aunque tengo absoluta libertad en Cristo para ordenarte lo que debes hacer,	8 Therefore, although in Christ I have no hesitations about telling you what your duty is,
9 prefiero suplicarte en nombre del amor, Yo, Pablo, ya anciano y ahora prisionero a causa de Cristo Jesús,	9 I am rather appealing to your love, being what I am, Paul, an old man, and now also a prisoner ofChrist Jesus.
