2 Seigneur, mon Dieu, tu es mon refuge, sauve-moi du persécuteur, délivre-moi.	2 O Lord, my God, in you I have hoped. Save me from all those who persecute me, and free me:

6 Que l’ennemi alors me poursuive et m’atteigne, qu’il me jette à terre sans vie, et piétine mes entrailles dans la poussière.	6 let the enemy pursue my soul, and take hold of it, and trample my life into the earth, and drag down my glory into the dust.
7 Lève-toi, Seigneur, montre ta colère, dresse-toi face à la rage de l’adversaire, réveille-toi, ô Dieu, ordonne le jugement.	7 Rise up, Lord, in your anger. And be exalted to the borders of my enemies. And rise up, O Lord my God, according to the precept that you commanded,
8 Que les peuples ensemble se rangent autour de toi, et toi, là-haut, tu siégeras au-dessus d’eux	8 and a congregation of people will surround you. And, because of this, return on high.
9 car tu es le Seigneur, le juge des nations. Juge-moi, Seigneur, vois que je suis juste et reconnais mon innocence.	9 The Lord judges the people. Judge me, O Lord, according to my justice and according to my innocence within me.
10 Mets un terme au mal et aux méchants et affermis le juste, car tu sondes les reins et les cœurs: tu es un Dieu juste.	10 The wickedness of sinners will be consumed, and you will direct the just: the examiner of hearts and temperaments is God.
11 Dieu est mon bouclier, il sauve les cœurs droits.	11 Just is my help from the Lord, who saves the upright of heart.
12 Dieu est un juste juge, un Dieu toujours prêt à frapper.	12 God is a just judge, strong and patient. How could he be angry throughout every day?

17 La malchance reviendra sur sa tête, sa violence lui retombera sur le crâne.	17 His sorrow will be turned upon his own head, and his iniquity will descend upon his highest point.
18 Je célébrerai le Seigneur car il est juste, je jouerai ma musique pour le nom du Très-Haut.	18 I will confess to the Lord according to his justice, and I will sing a psalm to the name of the Lord Most High.
