Michea 1

BIBBIA VOLGARE	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Questo è lo detto del nostro Signore Iddio lo quale egli disse a Michea di Morasti, nel tempo di Ioatan e di Ezechia e di Acaz, re di Giuda; lo quale detto egli vidde sopra Samaria e sopra Ierusalem.	1 The word of Yahweh which came to Micah of Moresheth during the reigns of Jotham, Ahaz andHezekiah kings of Judah. His visions about Samaria and Jerusalem.
2 O popoli tutti, audite; e tutta la gente e tutta la sua plenitudine, ascolti (e ponga mente); e lo Signore Iddio ponga a voi in testimonio, e sia lo Signore del suo santo tempio.	2 Listen, al you peoples, attend, earth and everyone on it! Yahweh intends to give evidence against you,the Lord, from his holy temple.
3 Però che ecco, lo Signore uscirà del suo (santo) luogo, e iscenderà, e calcherà sopra l'altezza della terra.	3 For look, Yahweh is leaving his home, down he comes, he treads the heights of earth.
4 E li monti saranno consumati sotto lui, e le valli saranno fesse (da lui) sì come la cera dalla faccia del fuoco, e sì come l' acque che istrabocchevolmente vengono.	4 Beneath him, the mountains melt, and val eys are torn open, like wax near a fire, like water pouringdown a slope.
5 E tutto questo sarà nella fellonia di Iacob, e nelli peccati della casa d' Israel; quale è la fellonia di Iacob? or non è Samaria? e quali sono l'altezze di Giuda? or non è Ierusalem?	5 Al this is because of the crime of Jacob, the sin of the House of Israel. What is the crime of Jacob? Is itnot Samaria? What is the sin of the House of Judah? Is it not Jerusalem?
6 E porrò Samaria sì come uno monte di pietre nel campo quando si pianta la vigna; e tirerò nella valle le sue pietre, e li suoi fondamenti (farò manifesti, cioè che li) scoprirò.	6 So I shal make Samaria a ruin in the open country, a place for planting vines. I shal send her stonesrol ing into the val ey, until I have laid her foundations bare.
7 E tutti i suoi intagli (delle idolatrie) saranno spezzati, e tutti li suoi prezzi saranno arsi al fuoco, e tutti i suoi idoli porrò in perdizione; però che sono radunati del prezzo delle meretrici, e ritorneranno insino alla mercede della meretrice.	7 Al her images wil be shattered, al her earnings consumed by fire. I shal leave al her idols derelict-they were amassed out of prostitutes' earnings and prostitutes' earnings once more they wil be.
8 E sopra questo piangerò e urlerò, e anderò (sopra loro) spogliato e ignudo; e farò lo pianto a modo di dragoni, e lamento come li struzzi.	8 This is why I shal howl and wail, why I shal go barefoot and naked, why I shall howl like the jackals,why I shal shriek like the owls;
9 Però che la sua piaga è disperata, però che venne insino a Giuda; e toccò la porta del popolo mio insino a Ierusalem.	9 for there is no cure for the wounds that Yahweh inflicts: the blow fal s on Judah, it fal s on the gateway ofmy people, on Jerusalem itself.
10 Non annunziate con lacrime insino in Get, e non piangete; nella casa della polvere spargetevi la polvere addosso.	10 Do not announce it in Gath, in . . . shed no tears! In Beth-Leaphrah rol in the dust!
11 E passa da voi l'abitazione bella, confusa vergogna; non è uscita quella che abita nello esito; del pianto della casa vicina torrà da voi quello che fece a sè medesimo.	11 Sound the horn, inhabitant of Shaphir! 12 Però che infermò nel bene colei che abita in amaro; però che il male scese [dal Signore] nella porta di Ierusalem.	12 What hope has she of happiness, she who lives in Maroth? Instead Yahweh sent down disaster on thegateway of Jerusalem itself!
13 E lo tumulto dello stupore della carretta [a colui] che abita in Lachis; lo principio del peccato fu le figliuole di Sion, però che in te sono trovate le fellonie d' Israel.	13 Harness the horse to the chariot, you inhabitant of Lachish! That is where the sin of the daughter ofZion began; the crimes of Israel can be traced to you!
14 E però darà li corridori sopra la ereditade di Get; e le case della bugia per inganno alli re d' Israel.	14 And so you must provide a dowry for Moresheth-Gath. Beth-Achzib wil prove a disappointment for thekings of Israel.
15 Ancora io adducerò erede a te che abiti in Maresa; e verrà insino a Odollam la gloria d' Israel.	15 The plunderer will come to you again, you citizen of Mareshah! And into Adullam wil vanish the gloryof Israel.
16 E farò radere e tondere sopra i figliuoli dei tuoi diletti; (e Maresa e Odollam sono due contrade, ovvero due terre); dilarga (e fa grande) il tuo capo calvo come l'aquila, però che li tuoi sono menati in prigione.	16 Off with your hair, shave your head, for the children that were your joy. Make yourselves bald like thevulture, for they have left you for exile.
