Isaia 62

BIBBIA VOLGARE	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Io non tacerò per Sion, e non poserò per Ierusalem, insino a tanto ch' esca fuori, sì come uno (bello) splendore, lo suo Giusto, e che lo suo Salvatore sia acceso come una lampada.	1 About Zion I wil not be silent, about Jerusalem I shal not rest until saving justice dawns for her like abright light and her salvation like a blazing torch.
2 E le genti vederanno lo tuo giusto (Signore), e tutti li re lo tuo nobile; e tu sarai chiamato per nome nuovo, lo quale nominò la bocca del Signore.	2 The nations wil then see your saving justice, and all kings your glory, and you wil be cal ed a newname which Yahweh's mouth wil reveal.
3 E sarai corona di gloria nella mano del tuo Iddio.	3 You will be a crown of splendour in Yahweh's hand, a princely diadem in the hand of your God.
4 E non sarai chiamata più Abbandonata, e la tua terra non si chiamerà più Desolata; ma tu sarai chiamata Volontà mia in essa, e la tua terra (sarà) Inabitata, però che piacque a Dio in te	4 No more wil you be known as 'Forsaken' or your country be known as 'Desolation'; instead, you wil becal ed 'My Delight is in her' and your country 'The Wedded'; for Yahweh wil take delight in you and your countrywil have its wedding.
5 E lo giovine abiterà con la vergine, e li tuoi figliuoli abiteranno in te; e lo sposo avrà allegrezza sopra la sposa, e lo tuo Signore Iddio si rallegrerà sopra te.	5 Like a young man marrying a virgin, your rebuilder will wed you, and as the bridegroom rejoices in his bride, so wil your God rejoice in you.
6 Io hoe ordinate le guardie sopra li tuoi muri, Ierusalem; e non taceranno nè di dì nè di notte in perpetuo. Voi che vi ricordate del Signore, non vogliate tacere;	6 On your wal s, Jerusalem, I have posted watchmen; they will never fal silent, day or night. No peace foryou, as you keep Yahweh's attention!
7 e non date silenzio a lui, mentre ch' elli non ferma, e insino a tanto che ponga Ierusalem laude in terra.	7 And give him no peace either until he restores Jerusalem and makes her the pride of the world!
8 Lo Signore per la sua mano diritta giurò, e per lo braccio della sua fortezza, (e disse): s' io darò lo grano tuo più per cibo a' tuoi nemici, e se li figliuoli strani beranno lo tuo vino, in che t'affaticasti.	8 Yahweh has sworn by his right hand and by his mighty arm: Never again shall I give your grain to feedyour enemies. Never again will foreigners drink the wine for which you have toiled.
9 Però che quelli che raduneranno loderanno Iddio; e quelli che lo porteranno, sì beranno ne' santi luoghi miei.	9 No, the reapers wil eat it and praise Yahweh, the harvesters will drink it in my sacred courts!
10 Passate per le porte, e apparecchiate la via al populo, e fate la via piana (e lo cammino), e levatene le pietre, e alzate l'insegna a' populi.	10 Pass through, pass through the gates. Clear a way for my people! Level up, level up the highway,remove the stones! Hoist a signal to the peoples!
11 Ecco che Iddio l'hae fatto udire nelle estremità della terra: dite, o figliuole di Sion: ecco, lo tuo Salvatore viene, e la sua opera sarà dinanzi a lui; ecco, la sua mercede viene con lui.	11 This is what Yahweh has proclaimed to the remotest part of earth: Say to the daughter of Zion, 'Look,your salvation is coming; with him comes his reward, his achievement precedes him!'
12 E chiameranno loro, lo populo santo, quelli che saranno ricomperati da Dio. E tu sarai chiamata città Addomandata, e non Abbandonata.	12 They will be cal ed 'The Holy People', 'Yahweh's Redeemed', while you will be cal ed 'Sought-after','City-not-forsaken'.
