1 Cantico nella dedicazione della casa di David.	1 A psalm for David, at the finishing of the tabernacle. Bring to the Lord, O ye children of God: bring to the Lord the offspring of rams.
2 Esalterò te, Signore, per che mi hai ricevuto; e non delettasti gli miei nemici sopra di me.	2 Bring to the Lord glory and honour: bring to the Lord glory to his name: adore ye the Lord in his holy court.
3 Signore, Iddio mio, chiamai a te, e tu mi sanasti.	3 The voice of the Lord is upon the waters; the God of majesty hath thundered, The Lord is upon many waters.
4 Signore, tu traesti l'anima mia dall' inferno; salvasti me da' descendenti nel lago.	4 The voice of the Lord is in power; the voice of the Lord in magnificence.
5 Voi, suoi santi, laudate al Signore; e confessate alla memoria della sua santità.	5 The voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars: yea, the Lord shall break the cedars of Libanus.
6 Imperò che l'ira è nella sua indignazione; e la vita è nella sua volontà. Al vespero dimorerà il pianto, e al mattutino la letizia.	6 And shall reduce them to pieces, as a calf of Libanus, and as the beloved son of unicorns.
7 Ma io dissi nella mia abbondanza: non mi moverò in eterno.	7 The voice of the Lord divideth the flame of fire:
8 Signore, nella tua volontà hai donato la virtù alla mia bellezza. Rimovesti da me la tua faccia, e fui conturbato.	8 The voice of the Lord shaketh the desert: and the Lord shall shake the desert of Cades.
9 A te, Signore, chiamerò, e al mio Iddio deprecarò.	9 The voice of the Lord prepareth the stags: and he will discover the thick woods: and in his temple all shall speak his glory.
10 Che utilità è nel mio sangue, quando vengo in corruzione? A te adunque confesserà la polvere, ovvero annunciarà la tua verità?	10 The Lord maketh the hood to dwell: and the Lord shall sit king for ever. The Lord will give strength to his people: the Lord will bless his people with peace.
11 Uditte il Signore, e ha avuto misericordia di me; il Signore fatto è mio aiutore.
12 Ha'mi convertito il mio pianto in gaudio; hai squarciato il mio sacco, ed ha'mi circondato di letizia,
13 acciò ch' io a te canti la mia gloria, e più non mora: Signore, Iddio mio, a te confesserò in eterno.
