1 In fine, salmo di David. A te, Signore, levai l'anima mia.	1 Unto the end. A Psalm of David. To you, Lord, I have lifted up my soul.
2 Iddio mio, in te mi confido: però non mi vergognerò.	2 In you, my God, I trust. Let me not be put to shame.
3 E gli miei nemici non mi scherniranno; (però) certo tutti quelli che ti sostengono, non saranno confusi.	3 And do not let my enemies laugh at me. For all who remain with you will not be confounded.
4 Siano confusi tutti gli mali operanti sopra le cose vane. Dimostrami, Signore, le tue vie; e insegnami le tue semite.	4 May all those who act unjustly over nothing be confounded. O Lord, demonstrate your ways to me, and teach me your paths.
5 Dirizza me nella tua verità, e ammaestrami; imperò che sei il mio salvatore, e tutto lo giorno ti ho aspettato.	5 Direct me in your truth, and teach me. For you are God, my Saviour, and I remain with you all day long.
6 Ricòrdati, Signore, delle tue opere misericordiose, e delle tue misericordie le quali sono state dal principio.	6 O Lord, remember your compassion and your mercies, which are from ages past.
7 Non ti ricordare i delitti della mia gioventù, e delle mie ignoranze. Ricordati di me secondo la tua misericordia, per amore della tua bontà, o Signore.	7 Do not remember the offenses of my youth and my ignorances. Remember me according to your mercy, because of your goodness, O Lord.
8 Come dolce e diritto è il Signore! per questo darà la legge alli erranti nella via.	8 The Lord is sweet and righteous. Because of this, he will grant a law to those who fall short in the way.
9 Dirizzerà i mansueti nel giudicio; alli benigni insegnerà le sue vie.	9 He will direct the mild in judgment. He will teach the meek his ways.
10 Tutte le vie del Signore sono misericordia e verità agli chiedenti il testamento suo e le testimonianze sue.	10 All the ways of the Lord are mercy and truth, to those who yearn for his covenant and his testimonies.
11 Per amore del tuo nome, Signore, avrai misericordia del mio peccato; per ch' egli è molto grande.	11 Because of your name, O Lord, you will pardon my sin, for it is great.
12 Chi è quello uomo che teme il Signore? hagti ordinato la legge nella via ch' egli ha eletto.	12 Which is the man who fears the Lord? He has established a law for him, on the way that he has chosen.
13 L'anima sua dimorerà nelli beni; e il suo seme erediterà la terra.	13 His soul will dwell upon good things, and his offspring will inherit the earth.
14 Il Signore è firmamento a quelli che lo temono; è testamento, acciò che a quelli si manifesti.	14 The Lord is a firmament to those who fear him, and his covenant will be made manifest to them.
15 Gli occhi miei sempre guardano il Signore; perchè salvarà li miei piedi dal lacciuolo.	15 My eyes are ever toward the Lord, for he will pull my feet from the snare.
16 Risguarda me, e abbi misericordia; perchè son povero e solo.	16 Look upon me and have mercy on me; for I am alone and poor.
17 Sono moltiplicate le tribulazioni del mio cuore; libera me dalle mia necessità.	17 The troubles of my heart have been multiplied. Deliver me from my needfulness.
18 Considera la mia umiltà e fatica; e perdona tutti li miei delitti.	18 See my lowliness and my hardship, and release all my offenses.
19 Risguarda i miei nemici, che sono accresciuti, e con iniquo odio mi hanno odiato.	19 Consider my enemies, for they have been multiplied, and they have hated me with an unjust hatred.
20 Guarda l' anima mia, e libera me; (e fa che) non mi vergognerò, per che ho sperato in te.	20 Preserve my soul and rescue me. I will not be ashamed, for I have hoped in you.
21 Mi si hanno accostato gli innocenti e diritti; per che ti ho aspettato.	21 The innocent and the righteous have adhered to me, because I have remained with you.
22 Iddio, libera Israel da tutte le tribulazioni sue.	22 Free Israel, O God, from all his tribulations.
