1 E dopo uno anno, in quello tempo che i re sogliono andare alla battaglia, Ioah congregò lo esercito e la fortezza della milizia, e disfece per guasto la terra de' figliuoli d' Ammon; e andò e assediò Rabba; e David era in Ierusalem, quando Ioab percosse Rabba, e disfecela.	1 At the turn of the year, at the time when kings go campaigning, Joab led out the troops and, havingravaged the Ammonites' territory, proceeded to lay siege to Rabbah. David, however, remained in Jerusalem.Joab reduced Rabbah and dismantled it.
