1 Beato l'uomo che non cammina secondo il consiglio degli empi, e non si ferma nella via dei peccatori, nè si pone a sedere sulla cattedra di pestilenza.	1 Happy those who do not follow the counsel of the wicked, Nor go the way of sinners, nor sit in company with scoffers.
2 Ma trova il suo diletto nella legge del Signore, sulla quale va meditando giorno e notte.	2 Rather, the law of the LORD is their joy; God's law they study day and night.
3 Egli è come albero piantato lungo le correnti delle acque, che a suo tempo non mancherà di dare il suo frutto. Le sue foglie non cadono, e tutto quello che egli fa, riesce bene.	3 They are like a tree planted near streams of water, that yields its fruit in season; Its leaves never wither; whatever they do prospers.
4 Non così gli empi, non così! Essi sono come pula dispersa dal vento.	4 But not the wicked! They are like chaff driven by the wind.
5 Perciò non reggeranno gli empi nel giudizio, nè i peccatori nell'assemblea dei giusti;	5 Therefore the wicked will not survive judgment, nor will sinners in the assembly of the just.
6 Perchè il Signore prendo a cuore la via dei giusti, e la strada degli empi finisce nella perdizione.	6 The LORD watches over the way of the just, but the way of the wicked leads to ruin.
