1 These are the kings whom the sons of Israel struck down, and whose land they possessed beyond the Jordan, toward the rising of the sun, from the torrent Arnon as far as mount Hermon, with the entire eastern region that looks out toward the wilderness:	1 Questi sono i re che i figli d'Israele batterono e di cui possedettero la terra di là dal Giordano, a levante, dal torrente Arnon fino al monte Ermon, e tutta la contrada orientale che guarda il deserto.
