NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 These were the stages of the journey made by the Israelites when they left Egypt in their companiesunder the leadership of Moses and Aaron.	1 هذه رحلات بني اسرائيل الذين خرجوا من ارض مصر بجنودهم عن يد موسى وهرون.
2 Moses recorded their starting-points in writing whenever they moved on at Yahweh's order. Thestages, from one starting-point to another, were as fol ows:	2 وكتب موسى مخارجهم برحلاتهم حسب قول الرب. وهذه رحلاتهم بمخارجهم.
3 They left Rameses in the first month. It was the fifteenth day of the first month, the day following thePassover, when the Israelites confidently set out, under the eyes of al Egypt.	3 ارتحلوا من رعمسيس في الشهر الاول في اليوم الخامس عشر من الشهر الاول في غد الفصح خرج بنو اسرائيل بيد رفيعة امام اعين جميع المصريين
4 The Egyptians were burying those of their own people whom Yahweh had struck down, all the first-born; Yahweh had carried out his judgement on their gods.	4 اذ كان المصريون يدفنون الذين ضرب منهم الرب من كل بكر. والرب قد صنع بآلهتهم احكاما
5 The Israelites left Rameses and camped at Succoth.	5 فارتحل بنو اسرائيل من رعمسيس ونزلوا في سكّوت.
6 Then they left Succoth and encamped at Etham which is on the edge of the desert.	6 ثم ارتحلوا من سكّوت ونزلوا في ايثام التي في طرف البرية.
7 They left Etham, turned back to Pi-Hahiroth, opposite Baal-Zephon, and encamped before Migdol.	7 ثم ارتحلوا من ايثام ورجعوا على فم الحيروث التي قبالة بعل صفون ونزلوا امام مجدل.
8 They left Pi-Hahiroth, crossed the sea into the desert, and after marching for three days in the desertof Etham they encamped at Marah.	8 ثم ارتحلوا من امام الحيروث وعبروا في وسط البحر الى البرية وساروا مسيرة ثلاثة ايام في برية ايثام ونزلوا في مارّة.
9 They left Marah and reached Elim. At Elim there were twelve springs of water and seventy palmtrees; they encamped there.	9 ثم ارتحلوا من مارّة واتوا الى إيليم. وكان في ايليم اثنتا عشرة عين ماء وسبعون نخلة. فنزلوا هناك.
10 They left Elim and encamped by the Sea of Reeds.	10 ثم ارتحلوا من ايليم ونزلوا على بحر سوف.
11 They left the Sea of Reeds and encamped in the desert of Sin.	11 ثم ارتحلوا من بحر سوف ونزلوا في برية سين.
12 They left the desert of Sin and encamped at Dophkah.	12 ثم ارتحلوا من برية سين ونزلوا في دفقة.
13 They left Dophkah and encamped at Alush.	13 ثم ارتحلوا من دفقة ونزلوا في الوش.
14 They left Alush and encamped at Rephidim; the people found no drinking water there.	14 ثم ارتحلوا من ألوش ونزلوا في رفيديم. ولم يكن هناك ماء للشعب ليشرب.
15 They left Rephidim and encamped in the desert of Sinai.	15 ثم ارتحلوا من رفيديم ونزلوا في برية سيناء.
16 They left the desert of Sinai and encamped at Kibroth-ha-Taavah.	16 ثم ارتحلوا من برية سيناء ونزلوا في قبروت هتّأوة.
17 They left Kibroth-ha-Taavah and encamped at Hazeroth.	17 ثم ارتحلوا من قبروت هتّأوة ونزلوا في حضيروت.
18 They left Hazeroth and encamped at Rithmah.	18 ثم ارتحلوا من حضيروت ونزلوا في رثمة.
19 They left Rithmah and encamped at Rimmon-Perez.	19 ثم ارتحلوا من رثمة ونزلوا في رمّون فارص.
20 They left Rimmon-Perez and encamped at Libnah.	20 ثم ارتحلوا من رمّون فارص ونزلوا في لبنة.
21 They left Libnah and encamped at Rissah.	21 ثم ارتحلوا من لبنة ونزلوا في رسّة.
22 They left Rissah and encamped at Kehelathah.	22 ثم ارتحلوا من رسّة ونزلوا في قهيلاتة.
23 They left Kehelathah and encamped at Mount Shepher.	23 ثم ارتحلوا من قهيلاتة ونزلوا في جبل شافر.
24 They left Mount Shepher and encamped at Haradah.	24 ثم ارتحلوا من جبل شافر ونزلوا في حرادة.
25 They left Haradah and encamped at Makheloth.	25 ثم ارتحلوا من حرادة ونزلوا في مقهيلوت.
26 They left Makheloth and encamped at Tahath.	26 ثم ارتحلوا من مقهيلوت ونزلوا في تاحت.
27 They left Tahath and encamped at Terah.	27 ثم ارتحلوا من تاحت ونزلوا في تارح.
28 They left Terah and encamped at Mithkah.	28 ثم ارتحلوا من تارح ونزلوا في مثقة.
29 They left Mithkah and encamped at Hashmonah.	29 ثم ارتحلوا من مثقة ونزلوا في حشمونة.
30 They left Hashmonah and encamped at Moseroth.	30 ثم ارتحلوا من حشمونة ونزلوا في مسيروت.
31 They left Moseroth and encamped at Bene-Jaakan.	31 ثم ارتحلوا من مسيروت ونزلوا في بني يعقان.
32 They left Bene-Jaakan and encamped at Hor-Gidgad.	32 ثم ارتحلوا من بني يعقان ونزلوا في حور الجدجاد.
33 They left Hor-Gidgad and encamped at Jotbathah.	33 ثم ارتحلوا من حور الجدجاد ونزلوا في يطبات.
34 They left Jotbathah and encamped at Abronah.	34 ثم ارتحلوا من يطبات ونزلوا في عبرونة.
35 They left Abronah and encamped at Ezion-Geber.	35 ثم ارتحلوا من عبرونة ونزلوا في عصيون جابر.
36 They left Ezion-Geber and encamped in the desert of Zin, that is, at Kadesh.	36 ثم ارتحلوا من عصيون جابر ونزلوا في برية صين وهي قادش.
37 They left Kadesh and encamped at Mount Hor, on the borders of the land of Edom.	37 ثم ارتحلوا من قادش ونزلوا في جبل هور في طرف ارض ادوم
38 The priest Aaron went up Mount Hor on Yahweh's orders and died there in the fortieth year of theexodus of the Israelites from Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first day of the month.	38 فصعد هرون الكاهن الى جبل هور حسب قول الرب ومات هناك في السنة الاربعين لخروج بني اسرائيل من ارض مصر في الشهر الخامس في الاول من الشهر.
39 Aaron was a hundred and twenty-three years old when he died on Mount Hor.	39 وكان هرون ابن مئة وثلاث وعشرين سنة حين مات في جبل هور.
40 The king of Arad, the Canaanite who lived in the Negeb of Canaan, heard of the Israelites' arrival.	40 وسمع الكنعاني ملك عراد وهو ساكن في الجنوب في ارض كنعان بمجيء بني اسرائيل
41 They left Mount Hor and encamped at Zalmonah.	41 ثم ارتحلوا من جبل هور ونزلوا في صلمونة.
42 They left Zalmonah and encamped at Punon.	42 ثم ارتحلوا من صلمونة ونزلوا في فونون.
43 They left Punon and encamped at Oboth.	43 ثم ارتحلوا من فونون ونزلوا في اوبوت.
44 They left Oboth and encamped in Moabite territory at Iye-Abarim.	44 ثم ارتحلوا من اوبوت ونزلوا في عيّي عباريم في تخم موآب.
45 They left Iyim and encamped at Dibon-Gad.	45 ثم ارتحلوا من عيّيم ونزلوا في ديبون جاد.
46 They left Dibon-Gad and encamped at Almon-Diblathaim.	46 ثم ارتحلوا من ديبون جاد ونزلوا في علمون دبلاتايم.
47 They left Almon-Diblathaim and encamped in the Abarim mountains facing Nebo.	47 ثم ارتحلوا من علمون دبلاتايم ونزلوا في جبال عباريم اما نبو.
48 They left the Abarim mountains and encamped on the Plains of Moab, near the Jordan oppositeJericho.	48 ثم ارتحلوا من جبال عباريم ونزلوا في عربات موآب على اردن اريحا.
49 They encamped near the Jordan between Beth-ha-Jeshimoth and Abel-ha-Shittim, on the Plains ofMoab.	49 نزلوا على الاردن من بيت يشيموت الى آبل شطّيم في عربات موآب
50 Yahweh spoke to Moses on the Plains of Moab, near the Jordan by Jericho, and said:	50 وكلم الرب موسى في عربات موآب على اردن اريحا قائلا
51 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "When you have crossed the Jordan into Canaan,	51 كلم بني اسرائيل وقل لهم انكم عابرون الاردن الى ارض كنعان
52 you wil drive out al the local inhabitants before you. You wil destroy al their painted images, youwil destroy al their metal statues and you wil demolish al their high places.	52 فتطردون كل سكان الارض من امامكم وتمحون جميع تصاويرهم وتبيدون كل اصنامهم المسبوكة وتخربون جميع مرتفعاتهم.
53 You wil take possession of the country and settle in it, for I have given you the country as yourproperty.	53 تملكون الارض وتسكنون فيها لاني قد اعطيتكم الارض لكي تملكوها
54 You wil share it out by lot among your clans. To a large clan you wil give a larger heritage, and to asmal er clan you wil give a smal er heritage. Where the lot fal s for each, that wil be his. Your heritage wildepend on the size of your tribe.	54 وتقتسمون الارض بالقرعة حسب عشائركم. الكثير تكثرون له نصيبه والقليل تقلّلون له نصيبه. حيث خرجت له القرعة فهناك يكون له. حسب اسباط آبائكم تقتسمون.
55 If, however, you do not drive out the local inhabitants before you, the ones you al ow to remain wilbe thorns in your eyes and thistles in your sides and wil harass you in the country where you are living,	55 وان لم تطردوا سكان الارض من امامكم يكون الذين تستبقون منهم اشواكا في اعينكم ومناخس في جوانبكم ويضايقونكم على الارض التي انتم ساكنون فيها.
56 and I shal treat you as I intended to treat them." '	56 فيكون اني افعل بكم كما هممت ان افعل بهم
