1 These were the stages of the journey made by the Israelites when they left Egypt in their companiesunder the leadership of Moses and Aaron.	1 Estas son las etapas de los israelitas, que salieron de Egipto por cuerpos de ejército, a las órdenes de Moisés y Aarón.
2 Moses recorded their starting-points in writing whenever they moved on at Yahweh's order. Thestages, from one starting-point to another, were as fol ows:	2 Moisés, por orden de Yahveh, escribió los puntos de donde partían, etapa por etapa. Estas fueron sus etapas, con indicación de los puntos de partida.
3 They left Rameses in the first month. It was the fifteenth day of the first month, the day following thePassover, when the Israelites confidently set out, under the eyes of al Egypt.	3 Partieron de Ramsés el mes primero. El día quince del mes primero, al día siguiente de la Pascua, salieron los israelitas, la mano en alto, en presencia de todos los egipcios.
4 The Egyptians were burying those of their own people whom Yahweh had struck down, all the first-born; Yahweh had carried out his judgement on their gods.	4 Los egipcios estaban enterrando a los suyos que habían sido heridos por Yahveh, a todos los primogénitos; Yahveh había hecho justicia de sus dioses.
5 The Israelites left Rameses and camped at Succoth.	5 Partieron los israelitas de Ramsés y acamparon en Sukkot.
6 Then they left Succoth and encamped at Etham which is on the edge of the desert.	6 Partieron de Sukkot y acamparon en Etam, que está en el extremo del desierto.
7 They left Etham, turned back to Pi-Hahiroth, opposite Baal-Zephon, and encamped before Migdol.	7 Partieron de Etam y se detuvieron en Pi Hajirot, que está frente a Baal Sefón y acamparon delante de Migdol.
8 They left Pi-Hahiroth, crossed the sea into the desert, and after marching for three days in the desertof Etham they encamped at Marah.	8 Partieron de Pi Hajirot y pasaron por medio del mar hasta el desierto. Anduvieron tres días de camino por el desierto de Etam y acamparon en Mará.
9 They left Marah and reached Elim. At Elim there were twelve springs of water and seventy palmtrees; they encamped there.	9 Partieron de Mará y llegaron a Elim. En Elim había doce fuentes de agua y setenta palmeras; allí acamparon.

50 Yahweh spoke to Moses on the Plains of Moab, near the Jordan by Jericho, and said:	50 Yahveh habló a Moisés en las Estepas de Moab, cerca del Jordán, a la altura de Jericó, y le dijo:
51 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "When you have crossed the Jordan into Canaan,	51 «Habla a los israelitas y diles: Cuando paséis el Jordán hacia el país de Canaán,
52 you wil drive out al the local inhabitants before you. You wil destroy al their painted images, youwil destroy al their metal statues and you wil demolish al their high places.	52 arrojaréis delante de vosotros a todos los habitantes del país. Destruiréis todas sus imágenes pintadas, destruiréis sus estatuas de fundición, saquearéis todos sus altos.
53 You wil take possession of the country and settle in it, for I have given you the country as yourproperty.	53 Os apoderaréis de la tierra y habitaréis en ella, pues os doy a vosotros todo el país en propiedad.
54 You wil share it out by lot among your clans. To a large clan you wil give a larger heritage, and to asmal er clan you wil give a smal er heritage. Where the lot fal s for each, that wil be his. Your heritage wildepend on the size of your tribe.	54 Repartiréis la tierra a suertes entre vuestros clanes. Al grande le aumentaréis la herencia y al pequeño se la reduciréis. Donde le caiga a cada uno la suerte, allí será su propiedad. Haréis el reparto por tribus paternas.
55 If, however, you do not drive out the local inhabitants before you, the ones you al ow to remain wilbe thorns in your eyes and thistles in your sides and wil harass you in the country where you are living,	55 Pero si no expulsáis delante de vosotros a los habitantes del país, los que dejéis se os convertirán en espinas de vuestros ojos y en aguijones de vuestros costados y os oprimirán en el país en que vais a habitar.
56 and I shal treat you as I intended to treat them." '	56 Y yo os trataré a vosotros en la forma en que había pensado tratarles a ellos.»
