1 The following are the stages by which the Israelites journeyed up by companies from the land of Egypt under the guidance of Moses and Aaron.	1 Estas son las etapas de los israelitas, que salieron de Egipto por cuerpos de ejército, a las órdenes de Moisés y Aarón.
2 By the LORD'S command Moses recorded the starting places of the various stages. The starting places of the successive stages were:	2 Moisés, por orden de Yahveh, escribió los puntos de donde partían, etapa por etapa. Estas fueron sus etapas, con indicación de los puntos de partida.
3 They set out from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month. On the Passover morrow the Israelites went forth in triumph, in view of all Egypt,	3 Partieron de Ramsés el mes primero. El día quince del mes primero, al día siguiente de la Pascua, salieron los israelitas, la mano en alto, en presencia de todos los egipcios.
4 While the Egyptians buried their first-born all of whom the LORD had struck down; on their gods, too, the LORD executed judgments.	4 Los egipcios estaban enterrando a los suyos que habían sido heridos por Yahveh, a todos los primogénitos; Yahveh había hecho justicia de sus dioses.
5 Setting out from Rameses, the Israelites camped at Succoth.	5 Partieron los israelitas de Ramsés y acamparon en Sukkot.
6 Setting out from Succoth, they camped at Etham near the edge of the desert.	6 Partieron de Sukkot y acamparon en Etam, que está en el extremo del desierto.

50 The LORD spoke to Moses on the plains of Moab beside the Jericho stretch of the Jordan and said to him:	50 Yahveh habló a Moisés en las Estepas de Moab, cerca del Jordán, a la altura de Jericó, y le dijo:
51 "Tell the Israelites: When you go across the Jordan into the land of Canaan,	51 «Habla a los israelitas y diles: Cuando paséis el Jordán hacia el país de Canaán,
52 drive out all the inhabitants of the land before you; destroy all their stone figures and molten images, and demolish all their high places.	52 arrojaréis delante de vosotros a todos los habitantes del país. Destruiréis todas sus imágenes pintadas, destruiréis sus estatuas de fundición, saquearéis todos sus altos.
53 "You shall take possession of the land and settle in it, for I have given you the land as your property.	53 Os apoderaréis de la tierra y habitaréis en ella, pues os doy a vosotros todo el país en propiedad.
54 You shall apportion the land among yourselves by lot, clan by clan, assigning a large heritage to a large group and a small heritage to a small group. Wherever anyone's lot falls, there shall his property be within the heritage of his ancestral tribe.	54 Repartiréis la tierra a suertes entre vuestros clanes. Al grande le aumentaréis la herencia y al pequeño se la reduciréis. Donde le caiga a cada uno la suerte, allí será su propiedad. Haréis el reparto por tribus paternas.
55 "But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land before you, those whom you allow to remain will become as barbs in your eyes and thorns in your sides, and they will harass you in the country where you live,	55 Pero si no expulsáis delante de vosotros a los habitantes del país, los que dejéis se os convertirán en espinas de vuestros ojos y en aguijones de vuestros costados y os oprimirán en el país en que vais a habitar.
56 and I will treat you as I had intended to treat them."	56 Y yo os trataré a vosotros en la forma en que había pensado tratarles a ellos.»
