1 Behold a king shall reign in justice, and princes shell rule in judgment.	1 Un roi régnera avec justice et ses chefs gouverneront avec droiture.
2 And a man shall be as when one is hid from the wind, and hideth himself from a storm, as rivers of waters in drought, and the shadow of a rock that standeth out in a desert land.	2 Chacun d’eux sera comme un abri contre le vent, un refuge dans la tempête, comme des cours d’eaux dans une terre aride, comme l’ombre d’un grand rocher dans un pays désert.
3 The eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken diligently.	3 Les yeux des voyants ne seront plus aveugles, les oreilles de ceux qui écoutent seront attentives.
4 And the heart of fools shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of stammerers shall speak readily and plain.	4 Les impatients s’appliqueront à comprendre et ceux qui bégaient parleront clairement sans hésiter.
5 The fool shall no more be called prince: neither shall the deceitful be called great:	5 On ne dira plus de l’homme sans conscience qu’il est noble, ni du fourbe qu’il est grand.
6 For the fool will speak foolish things, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and speak to the Lord deceitfully, and to make empty the soul of the hungry, and take away drink from the thirsty.	6 En effet, l’homme sans conscience dit ce qui heurte la conscience, et ses œuvres sont mauvaises; c’est un hypocrite qui blasphème contre Yahvé, il laisse l’affamé sans nourriture et retire l’eau à celui qui a soif.
7 The vessels of the deceitful are most wicked: for he hath framed devices to destroy the meek, with lying words, when the poor man speaketh judgment.	7 Quant au fourbe, ses inventions sont méchantes, il ne pense qu’à perdre les humbles par ses paroles mensongères, alors qu’en face le pauvre dit la vérité.
8 But the prince will devise such things as are worthy of a prince, and he shah stand above the rulers.	8 L’homme au cœur noble, par contre, a de nobles pensées, et ses actes aussi sont nobles.
9 Rise up, ye rich women, and hear my voice: ye confident daughters, give ear to my speech.	9 Levez-vous, écoutez ma voix, femmes insouciantes! Prêtez l’oreille à ma parole, filles sans cervelle!
10 For after days and a year, you that are confident shall be troubled: for the vintage is at an end, the gathering shall come no more.	10 Oui, dans un an et quelques jours, vous tremblerez, filles sans cervelle, car ce sera la vendange mais la récolte ne viendra pas.
11 Be astonished, ye rich women, be troubled, ye confident ones: strip yen, and be confounded, gird your loins.	11 Soyez effrayées, insouciantes, tremblez, filles sans cervelle, retirez vos vêtements, dépouillez-vous, puis mettez un sac sur vos reins.
12 Mourn for your breasts, for the delightful country, for the fruitful vineyard.	12 Devant les belles campagnes et les riches vignobles, lamentez-vous, frappez-vous les seins.
13 Upon the land of my people shall thorns and briers come up: how much more upon all the houses of joy, of the city that rejoiced?	13 Car voici que les épines et les ronces grandissent sur la terre de mon peuple, et sur les maisons joyeuses de la ville en fête.
14 For the house is forsaken, the multitude of the city is left, darkness and obscurity are come upon its dens for ever. A joy of wild asses, the pastures of docks,	14 32:19 Mais la forêt tombera sous la grêle tandis que la ville sera humiliée.
15 Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high: and the desert shall be se a charmel, and charmel shall be counted for a forest.	15 32:14 La forteresse est abandonnée, la ville bruyante est déserte, l’Ophel et la tour fortifiée ont été ruinées pour toujours: elles font le bonheur des ânes sauvages, et les troupeaux y cherchent leur pâture.
16 And judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and justice shall sit in charmel.	16 32:15 Mais alors l’Esprit se répandra sur nous d’en haut, le désert se changera en verger et ce verger sera ouvert à tout le monde.
17 And the work of justice shall be peace, and the service of justice quietness, and security for ever.	17 32:16 La droiture aura sa tente dans le désert et la justice habitera le verger.
18 And my people shall sit in the beauty of peace, and in the tabernacles of confidence, and in wealthy rest.	18 32:17 La justice apportera la paix; le fruit de la justice sera la tranquillité et la sécurité pour toujours.
19 But hail shall be in the descent of the forest, and the city shall be made very low.	19 32:18 Mon peuple habitera des maisons paisibles, des demeures tranquilles dans des lieux sûrs.
20 Blessed are ye that sow upon all waters, sending thither the foot of the ox and the ass.	20 Quel bonheur pour vous de semer au bord des eaux et de laisser paître en liberté le bœuf et l’âne!
