Psalms 98

1 O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.	1 [Ein Psalm.] Singt dem Herrn ein neues Lied; denn er hat wunderbare Taten vollbracht. Er hat mit seiner Rechten geholfen und mit seinem heiligen Arm.
2 The LORD hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.	2 Der Herr hat sein Heil bekannt gemacht und sein gerechtes Wirken enthüllt vor den Augen der Völker.
3 He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.	3 Er dachte an seine Huld und an seine Treue zum Hause Israel. Alle Enden der Erde sahen das Heil unsres Gottes.
4 Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.	4 Jauchzt vor dem Herrn, alle Länder der Erde, freut euch, jubelt und singt!
5 Sing unto the LORD with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.	5 Spielt dem Herrn auf der Harfe, auf der Harfe zu lautem Gesang!
6 With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the LORD, the King.	6 Zum Schall der Trompeten und Hörner jauchzt vor dem Herrn, dem König!
7 Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.	7 Es brause das Meer und alles, was es erfüllt, der Erdkreis und seine Bewohner.
8 Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together	8 In die Hände klatschen sollen die Ströme, die Berge sollen jubeln im Chor
9 Before the LORD; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.	9 vor dem Herrn, wenn er kommt, um die Erde zu richten. Er richtet den Erdkreis gerecht, die Nationen so, wie es recht ist.
