| 2 Fra la piazza e il fiume, di qua e di là, vi sono alberi di vita, che portano frutto dodici volte, una ogni mese, con foglie che hanno virtù medicinale per la guarigione delle genti. | 2 through the middle of the street of the city; also, on either side of the river, the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. |
| 3 E ogni maledizione non vi sarà più; ma il trono di Dio e dell'Agnello sarà in mezzo a lei, i suoi servi a lui presteranno culto; | 3 There shall no more be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and his servants shall worship him; |
| 4 contempleranno la sua faccia e porteranno sulla fronte il suo nome. | 4 they shall see his face, and his name shall be on their foreheads. |
| 5 E poiché notte più non vi sarà non hanno bisogno di luce di lampada né di luce di sole; poiché il Signore Dio spanderà su loro la sua luce, e regneranno nei secoli dei secoli. | 5 And night shall be no more; they need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they shall reign for ever and ever. |

| 11 L'ingiusto commetta pure ingiustizie, l'immondo si faccia sempre più immondo, e il giusto séguiti ad agire secondo giustizia e il santo si santifichi ancor più! | 11 Let the evildoer still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy." |

Io sono la radice, la stirpe di Davide, la stella lucente del mattino". | 16 "I Jesus have sent my angel to you with this testimony for the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright morning star." |
| 17 Lo Spirito e la Sposa dicono: "Vieni!"; così chi ascolta dica: "Vieni!". Colui che ha sete venga e chi ne ha desiderio attinga gratuitamente l'acqua della vita. | 17 The Spirit and the Bride say, "Come." And let him who hears say, "Come." And let him who is thirsty come, let him who desires take the water of life without price. |
| 18 A chi ascolta le parole profetiche di questo libro dichiaro: se qualcuno farà delle aggiunte ad esse, Dio farà giungere su di lui i flagelli descritti in questo libro. | 18 I warn every one who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if any one adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, |
| 19 E se uno sottrarrà qualcosa dalle parole di questo libro profetico, Dio sottrarrà la sua sorte dall'albero della vita e dalla Città santa, descritte in questo libro. | 19 and if any one takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book. |
