KÁLDI-NEOVULGÁTA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Aki megtartja a törvényt, gyakran áldoz;	1 One who keeps the Law multiplies offerings; one who fol ows the commandments offers communionsacrifices.
2 békeáldozat, ha valaki ügyel a parancsokra, és távol tartja magát minden gonoszságtól.	2 Proof of gratitude is an offering of fine flour, almsgiving a sacrifice of praise.
3 Vétségért engesztelő áldozat és bocsánatkérés a bűnért, ha valaki jogsértéstől tartózkodik.	3 To abandon wickedness is what pleases the Lord, to give up wrong-doing is an expiatory sacrifice.
4 Lisztlángot áldoz, aki szeretetet tanúsít, és hálaáldozatot mutat be, aki alamizsnát osztogat.	4 Do not appear empty-handed in the Lord's presence; for all these things are due under thecommandment.
5 Az Úrnak tetsző adomány: otthagyni a gonoszságot, és engesztelés a bűnökért: tartózkodni a jogsértéstől.	5 The offering of the upright graces the altar, and its savour rises before the Most High.
6 Ne jelenj meg az Úr színe előtt üres kézzel,	6 The sacrifice of the upright is acceptable, its memorial wil not be forgotten.
7 mert Isten parancsa miatt kell történni mindezeknek.	7 Honour the Lord with generosity, do not stint the first-fruits you bring.
8 Az igaz áldozata juttat zsíros húst az oltárra, és gyönyörűséges illat az a Magasságbeli színe előtt!	8 Add a smiling face to al your gifts, and be cheerful as you dedicate your tithes.
9 Kedves az igaz áldozata, meg nem feledkezik az Úr az ő emlékeztető áldozatáról.	9 Give to the Most High as he has given to you, as generously as your means can afford;
10 Jó lélekkel tiszteld Istent, és ne vonj el semmit kezed adományából!	10 for the Lord is a good rewarder, he wil reward you seven times over.
11 Minden adományodnál vidám legyen arcod, és örömmel ajánld fel tizedeidet!	11 Do not try to bribe him with presents, he wil not accept them, do not put your faith in wronglymotivated sacrifices;
12 Úgy adj a Magasságbelinek, ahogy ő ad neked, add jó lélekkel, amennyire kezedből telik,	12 for the Lord is a judge who is utterly impartial.
13 Mert az Úr megfizet, hétannyit ad neked helyette.	13 He never shows partiality to the detriment of the poor, he listens to the plea of the injured party.
14 Ne jöjj silány áldozattal, mert az nem kell neki,	14 He does not ignore the orphan's supplication, nor the widow's as she pours out her complaint.
15 és ne várj semmit igaztalan áldozattól, mert az Úr igaz bíró, és nincs nála személyválogatás.	15 Do the widow's tears not run down her cheeks, as she accuses the man who is the cause of them?
16 Nem nézi az Úr a személyt a szegénnyel szemben, és meghallgatja az elnyomott esdeklését.	16 Whoever wholeheartedly serves God will be accepted, his petitions wil carry to the clouds.
17 Nem veti meg az árva könyörgését, de az özvegyét sem, ha kiönti panaszszavát.	17 The prayer of the humble pierces the clouds: and until it does, he is not to be consoled,
18 Nemde az özvegynek könnyek peregnek arcán, és panaszt tesznek az ellen, aki fakasztotta őket!	18 nor wil he desist until the Most High takes notice of him, acquits the upright and delivers judgement.
19 Arcáról ugyanis felszállnak az égbe, s az Úr, aki meghallgatja őket, nem leli kedvét bennük.	19 And the Lord will not be slow, nor wil he be dilatory on their behalf,
20 Aki készséges lélekkel imádja Istent, elfogadásra talál, és könyörgése a felhőkig ér.	20 until he has crushed the loins of the merciless and exacted vengeance on the nations,
21 A megalázkodó imádsága áthatol a felhőkön, és meg nem nyugszik, amíg oda nem jut, nem tágít, amíg a Magasságbeli rá nem tekint.	21 until he has eliminated the hordes of the arrogant and broken the sceptres of the wicked,
22 Az Úr nem is késlekedik, hanem igazságot szolgáltat az igazaknak, és ítéletet mond. A Hős nem türtőzteti magát velük szemben, amíg össze nem zúzza hátukat,	22 until he has repaid al people as their deeds deserve and human actions as their intentions merit,
23 és meg nem fizet a népeknek, amíg el nem űzi a gőgösök seregét, és össze nem töri az igaztalanok kormánypálcáját,	23 until he has judged the case of his people and made them rejoice in his mercy.
24 amíg meg nem fizet az embereknek tetteik szerint, az ember cselekedetei és vakmerősége szerint,	24 Mercy is welcome in time of trouble, like rain clouds in time of drought.
25 amíg igazságot nem tesz népének, és meg nem örvendezteti az igazakat irgalmával.
26 Gyönyörűséges az Isten irgalma az elnyomás idején, mint az esőt hozó felhők szárazság idején.
