1 Pourquoi tout ce tapage des nations? Voyez ces peuples et leur projet sans espoir.	1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2 Les rois de la terre se sont alliés, les grands chefs se sont soulevés contre le Seigneur et contre son Christ.	2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
3 Ils ont dit: “Brisons leurs entraves, débarrassons-nous de leur joug.”	3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
4 Celui qui siège dans les cieux s’en amuse, le Seigneur se moque d’eux.	4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
5 Voilà qu’il leur parle tout en colère et sa fureur les épouvante. Il dit:	5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
6 “Moi, je viens d’établir mon roi sur Sion, ma montagne sainte.”	6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
7 Oui, je vais proclamer le décret du Seigneur, il m’a dit: “Tu es mon fils, moi aujourd’hui, je t’ai transmis la vie.	7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
8 Demande-moi et je te donnerai les nations, elles seront à toi jusqu’au bout du monde.	8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
9 Tu les mèneras avec un sceptre de fer, tu les briseras comme un pot de terre.”	9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
10 Alors soyez sages, messieurs les rois, tenez-en compte, vous qui gouvernez le monde.	10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
11 Servez le Seigneur avec crainte,	11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
12 rendez-lui hommage et tremblez. Car sa colère n’est pas longue à partir, qu’il vienne à s’impatienter et vous êtes perdus. Heureux ceux qui se confient en lui!	12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
