1 Pour le service, David et les officiers mirent à part les fils d'Asaph, de Hémân et de Yedutûn,les prophètes qui s'accompagnaient de lyres, de cithares et de cymbales, et l'on compta les hommes affectés à ceservice.	1 Then David and the magistrates of the army set apart, for the ministry, the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who were to prophesy with harps and psalteries and cymbals, in accord with their number, having been dedicated to their appointed office.
2 Pour les fils d'Asaph: Zakkur, Yoseph, Netanya, Asarééla; les fils d'Asaph dépendaient deleur père qui prophétisait sous la direction du roi.	2 From the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asharelah, the sons of Asaph, under the hand of Asaph, prophesying beside the king.
3 Pour Yedutûn: fils de Yedutûn: Gedalyahu, Ceri, Yeshayahu, Hashabyahu, Mattityahu; ilsétaient six sous la direction de leur père Yedutûn qui prophétisait au son des lyres en l'honneur et à la louange deYahvé.	3 Then of Jeduthun, the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, and Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hand of their father Jeduthun, who was prophesying with stringed instruments, while confessing and praising the Lord.
4 Pour Hémân: fils de Hémân: Buqqiyyahu, Mattanyahu, Uzziel, Shebuel, Yerimot, Hananya,Hanani, Eliata, Giddalti, Româmti-Ezer, Yoshbeqasha, Malloti, Hotir, Mahaziot.	4 Also, of Heman, the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamtiezer, and Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth.
5 Tous ceux-là étaient fils de Hémân, le voyant du roi; aux paroles de Dieu, ils sonnaient de latrompe. Dieu donna à Hémân quatorze fils et trois filles;	5 All these were the sons of Heman, the seer of the king in the words of God, in order to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.
6 ils chantaient tous sous la direction de leur père dans le Temple de Yahvé, au son descymbales, des cithares et des lyres, au service du Temple de Dieu, sous les ordres du roi. Asaph, Yedutûn,Hémân,	6 All these, under their father’s hand, were distributed in order to sing in the temple of the Lord, with cymbals and psalteries and harps, in the ministry of the house of the Lord beside the king, specifically, Asaph, and Jeduthun, and Heman.
7 ceux qui avaient appris à chanter pour Yahvé, furent comptés avec leurs frères; ils étaient entout 288 à s'y entendre.	7 Now the number of these, with their brothers, who were instructing in the song of the Lord, all the teachers, were two hundred eighty-eight.
8 Ils tirèrent au sort l'ordre à observer, pour le petit comme pour le grand, pour le maîtrecomme pour l'élève.	8 And they cast lots in their turns, the elder equally with the younger, the learned together with the unlearned.
9 Le premier sur qui tomba le sort fut l'Asaphite Yoseph. Le second fut Gedalyahu; avec sesfils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	9 And the first lot went forth to Joseph, who was of Asaph; the second went forth to Gedaliah, to him and his sons and his brothers, twelve.
10 Le troisième fut Zakkur; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	10 The third went to Zaccur, to his sons and brothers, twelve.
11 Le quatrième fut Yiçri; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	11 The fourth went to Izri, to his sons and brothers, twelve.
12 Le cinquième fut Netanyahu; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	12 The fifth went to Nethaniah, to his sons and brothers, twelve.
13 Le sixième fut Buqqiyyahu; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	13 The sixth went to Bukkiah, to his sons and brothers, twelve.
14 Le septième fut Yesarééla; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	14 The seventh went to Jesharelah, to his sons and brothers, twelve.
15 Le huitième fut Yeshayahu; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	15 The eighth went to Jeshaiah, to his sons and brothers, twelve.
16 Le neuvième fut Mattanyahu; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	16 The ninth went to Mattaniah, to his sons and brothers, twelve.
17 Le dixième fut Shiméï; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	17 The tenth went to Shimei, to his sons and brothers, twelve.
18 Le onzième fut Azaréel; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	18 The eleventh went to Azarel, to his sons and brothers, twelve.
19 Le douzième fut Hashabyahu; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	19 The twelfth went to Hashabiah, to his sons and brothers, twelve.
20 Le treizième fut Shubaël; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	20 The thirteenth went to Shubael, to his sons and brothers, twelve.
21 Le quatorzième fut Mattityahu; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	21 The fourteenth went to Mattithiah, to his sons and brothers, twelve.
22 Le quinzième fut Yerémot; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	22 The fifteenth went to Jeremoth, to his sons and brothers, twelve.
23 Le seizième fut Hananyahu; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	23 The sixteenth went to Hananiah, to his sons and brothers, twelve.
24 Le dix-septième fut Yoshbeqasha; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	24 The seventeenth went to Joshbekashah, to his sons and brothers, twelve.
25 Le dix-huitième fut Hanani; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	25 The eighteenth went to Hanani, to his sons and brothers, twelve.
26 Le dix-neuvième fut Malloti; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	26 The nineteenth went to Mallothi, to his sons and his brothers, twelve.
27 Le vingtième fut Elyata; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	27 The twentieth went to Eliathah, to his sons and brothers, twelve.
28 Le vingt et unième fut Hotir; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	28 The twenty-first went to Hothir, to his sons and brothers, twelve.
29 Le vingt-deuxième fut Giddalti; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	29 The twenty-second went to Giddalti, to his sons and brothers, twelve.
30 Le vingt-troisième fut Mahaziot; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	30 The twenty-third went to Mahazioth, to his sons and brothers, twelve.
31 Le vingt-quatrième fut Româmti-Ezer; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.	31 The twenty-fourth went to Romamtiezer, to his sons and brothers, twelve.
